I served in the 90s and we were a fully integrated squadron of males and females living in the same barracks. I got laid a lot, but people fight over girls and guys, and sometimes there are ugly breakups, but you still have to work together. It doesnt go well when that happens, which is bad for a unit.
The very best girls are equal to a low average male in work ethic. Thats because what the military does is hard. Women arent built for it. They arent good on the front lines. They arent even good as mechanics on a flight line when its 115 degrees. Their bodies cant handle it. They crumble and go hide in a bathroom for an hour, which means the men have to pick up their slack. Women just make our job even harder.
