Every Jew Must Vote for Hindenburg Says Proclamation Issued by German Zionist Federation Following ...
March 14, 1932
Vote for Hindenburg, says a proclamation published to-day by the German Zionist Federation in its official organ, the “Juedische Rundschau”, following up the similar appeal issued by the Central Union of German Citizens of Jewish Faith.
Every Jew must vote for Hindenburg, the Zionist appeal says, in order to avert the present grave menace that is threatening the Jewish population of Germany. Jews are interested in the present election not only as citizens, it goes on, but also specifically as Jews, for if Hitler wins, the Jewish situation in Germany will be worse than was the Jewish situation in Czarist Russia. Jews will be deprived of their citizenship, and of their other rights, and they will live under a regime of antisemitic terrorism.

War Threat to Palestine Unites Jews Of England; Meet Jointly for Defense
The Sentinel, 29 May 1941.
London, May 28 (WNS)—The danger of an Axis attack on Palestine has solidified the ranks of British Jewry and for the first time in many years representatives of the Agudath Israel, Zionists, Labor Zionists, Mizrachi and the Revisionists joined in discussions at a special meeting of the Palestine Committee of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. The joint meeting was held after a conference of the British Agudath Israel had appealed to Jewish groups in London to drop their political dif-ferences at this time and join hands in the defense of Palestine. The Agu-dath Israel parley was attended by more than 250 delegates from all parts of England.
H. A. Goodman, who presided at the Agudath Israel conference, emphasized that the present crisis facing Palestine must be met with complete cooperation by all Jewish organizations interested in the development of Palestine.
Stating that the whole Jewish community would rise to defend their land,
Mr. Goodman stressed that "in this hour of danger to Palestine, Agudists, Zionists and Revisionists should do their utmost to achieve unity and cooperation." The conference voiced confidence in an ultimate Allied victory which would restore the freedom and equality of European Jews and make possible the continuation of the "glorious traditions of Jewish life."
Meanwhile, the influential London News-Chronicle urged the British government to permit the immediate formation of a Jewish army in Palestine: "Our obligations to protect the Jewish national home must be fulfilled. The best way to ensure that Palestine never falls to Hitler is to arm the virile Jewish population. They will fight for their homes against Hitler as even we should not.
All they need is modern weapons and these America is best able to provide. From the point of view of winning the larger war there could not be a better investment."

Zionist Comment on the Anti-Hitler War.
By JOHN ARNOLD.
The Zionists are no less anxious than any other section of the Jewish people to see the annihilation of Hitlerism. The comment that I have already seen in Zionist publicationa reflects a desire tor American aid to the Soviet Union and Britain for the defeat of Hitler's hordes. Both the ״New Palestine" organ of the Zionist Organisation of America and “Jewish Frontier," organ of the social-democratic Labor Zionists support the government’s expressed position to aid Britain and the Soviet Union.
On the basis of the common desire to put an end to Hitlerism and to aid all the foes of Hitlerism Zionists and non-Zlonists can and, should unite their eneryles. Differences of opinion on the ultimate solution of the Jewish question should not prevent unity of action In this crucial moment between the most ardent Zionists and the Jews who disagree with the full Zionist program.
If such differences are permitted to obstruct common action on the supreme Issue confronting all Jews and all decent people the world over—the extermlnatlon of Hitlerism—the Nazis will be very satisfied. ...
