Supreme Court extends pause on deportations under Alien Enemies Act in Texas

...conservatives who advocate violating immigrants’ right to due process are motivated by racism, bigotry, and hate – a reckless, irresponsible rush to remove immigrants of color consistent racist replacement theory and white grievance politics.
And this ^^^ is where you fail.

What the fascist right fails to understand is that no one objects to the lawful, warranted removal of immigrants who are criminals and gangsters, or who are otherwise in violation of the law.

But immigrants accused of violating the law must be afforded their comprehensive right to due process whether alleged gang member or asylum seeker.

That it will take ‘too long’ to remove all immigrants isn’t justification to violate the right to due process and ignore the rule of law; conservatives who advocate violating immigrants’ right to due process are motivated by racism, bigotry, and hate – a reckless, irresponsible rush to remove immigrants of color consistent racist replacement theory and white grievance politics.

And once the precident for removing illegals is established, Trump will not hesitate to try it against American citizens. He has already talked about it.

Oh well they are still being held and are not among us.....Sucks having to pay to keep them though.....Leftists just cost us 17K a head.
You know, the Alien Enemies Act is not the only mechanism for deportation, right?

Just fire up the immigration courts and prove the Govt.'s case....then deport them.
Of course, that would involve the Govt. actually PROVING their allegations--something they seem unable or unwilling to do, in many cases.

You should check out the .gov qualifications to be an immigration court judge.....It's beyond asinine.

At just the tip of the iceberg.....An immigration judge’s qualifications include a law degree, active membership in the bar, a license to practice as a lawyer, and at least seven years of legal experience.
Yet you can be chosen to SCOTUS without even being a lawyer.

To me anyone that can pass a background check to buy a firearm and who is a US Citizen should be able to serve as an immigration judge as it's mostly cut and dried.

The dockets would be cleaned-up quickly. I'd trust someone like myself to do the right thing a lot more than some lawyer who are basically professional liars.

Yup...it's a hard job and the requirements are stiff.
I believe, along with many, that the real reason that this administration does not favor the immigration court route, is that, in some cases, the outcome is not the one that the administration favors.

An immigration judge can deport..he can also allow the defendant to stay--depending on circumstances.
The administration, and you, I imagine--don't give a shit about 'circumstances'.

Remember that immigration bill you guys decided that was totally unnecessary?

It would have increased the number of judges.

You guys are morons.

Trump did you one better by ending the mass invasion of illegals at the southern border, which reduces the need for more lifetime appointees in the immigration racket

Nope, I don't.

Did you come across the border legally? No, then bye. (Biden's invite won't count in my court)

Is your visa expired....Yes, then bye. No shits given about your excuses.

Did you commit a crime on US soil? Yes, then bye.

Pretty simple stuff anyone with some common sense could handle.

How about..you came here legally and your visa did not expire and you did not commit any crime--attend school and write a pro-Palestinian article for the school paper?

Prog have already done it. they don't ask anyone. They just do it. Garland was ready to execute some Christian's when got the goons to invade their homes. Progs will turn on each other and will. There are too many groups within your party who have deep rooted hate for each other. They get along for political and payoff reasons.

JUst doing what Ike did

Neither Bush nor Eisenhower used the Aliens Enemy Act (AEA) to imprison people in a 3rd world country concentration camp with no access to external communications, access by family, access by counsel, and access to the courts.

This action was NOT about the ability to deport those here illegally (which I support BTW).

This case was about scooping people up and sending them to out of country human storage facilities. With no hearing and no opportunity to challenge the "evidence" that government wants to use to claim they fall under the AEA or that the AEA was activated under the law that Congress established (in other words the use is unconstitutional).

Totally irrelevant to the fact that you guys are whining about the lack of judges.

15th post
Bye...You should have not supported terrorists.

See how easy it is. :)
Uh-huh..indeed I do.
Which is why I oppose you and all of your ilk.
When an essay about some issue, in a foreign country, opposes the Govt. position...you would sanction the author.
You would:
Yank their Visa.
Revoke their Permanent residency status
Cancel their naturalized citizenship.
Deport them.

I'm quite sure that you'd love to send all those who disagree with you to El Salvador or Libya--regardless of citizenship status.

Yes, I do indeed, see just how easy it is--history is ripe with examples~

..and of course, if someone took exception to YOUR spewing some garbage in public--your screams of 'free speech' would be deafening eh?

I cant think of single “you guys” that is demanding more immigration judges

Certainly not me
Of course you aren't--applying the rule of law would, in effect, put the brakes on the very behaviors that you are currently cheering on~
