They are set to testify in a couple of weeks? If they don't weasel out of it again.

What if they insult the Republican congress folk, ask repeatedly, why neither Bush was ever asked about the Epstein files, and talk about how well the economy did under their administration? Pam Bondi's performance will still be pretty fresh on everyone's mind.So most viewers would get what they were doing.

I for one would be fine with that. The whole topic of the Epstein Files is idiotic. It was bipartisan idiocy to set the precedent that files from investigations should be released with the names of presumed innocent people mentioned during the investigation aired in public.

I predict that as the parties take turns being in power, each of them will in turn feel the bite of that particular precedent.

What have we learned from the Epstein episode that we did not know say ten years ago? Was it a huge revelation that powerful men enjoy casual sex and often turn to pimps to provide partners for them?

Show of hands who was shocked?

Or was the big surprise that older men often value youth in paid sexual partners and that pimps will not scruple to recruit girls under the age of majority to provide that seeming youthfulnes?

I am not saying that any of that is right. Of course it is very wrong. I question if the expense of these hearings is worth it. Will it finally put an end to the scourge of underage prostitution? Will teenage girls who hang out in the mall no longer be vulnerable to predation?

The most we could possibly get out of these hearings is a chance too "tch tch" about political figures that we already dislike. i would rather do that about their policies then about their sex lives.

I never saw Trump forced to testify before Congress when he was not President

President Clinton, what was the extent of your association with Jeff Epstein?

Clinton: The stock market went up 225% when I was President, why do you bother me with Epstein?

What Massie and Khanna are attempting is a full investigation.

If the folks in those files are ALL compelled to testify, all of their testimony, in conjunction with victims statements, and with use of all information being withheld by the DoJ, FBI, and other agencies involved in this, once it is all compared and cross-referenced, proof of what went on, and a clearer picture will emerge.

Will we ever have accountability? Who knows.

Which is a waste in my opinion.

Mr B, I respect you as a poster, so I ask with respect:

Some dirty old men - some public figures - paid for underage poontang. How much more clear could it be?
Will we ever have accountability? Who knows.
Almost certainly not.

I'd sooner see the money spent rescuing thousands of actual children who were trafficked across the border during Biden's invitecion.

If it is clear, then the question remains, why does our government, regardless of which party is running the DoJ, protect these folks from any consequences?

Until this problem is fixed, the republic is hemorrhaging legitimacy and it will only be a matter of time before it falls.

Actually on any of the multiple tiers of our justice system, very few men who patronize prostitutes have consequences.

If prostitution must be eliminated foa a republic to have legitimacy, then a legitimate republic will never exist.

It is about far more than just prostitution.

As Ro Khana conceded to Shawn Ryan in his interview yesterday, ALL taxes are a waste of money as long as successive administrations, regardless of party, lack integrity and appear to be corrupt.

From your mouth to God's ears!

The treasury dept would have all the records on tax evasion schemes with clients if he were being investigated for that, and the CIA would have investigation records on Epstein if he were a spy, or foreign agent or operative. Not sure the FBI files would have all that info....?

At the very least, they ought to investigate that email which claimed there were bodies buried at Epstein's ranch.

How hard would that be? Just a bit of ground penetrating radar could either confirm or debunk that file.

IMO, the folks in control, in both parties, don't want to see a real investigation.

I can't take credit for this explanation, it was explained to me yesterday by Ro Khann in his interview with Shawn Ryan. I highly recommend that if you are interested.

330 gallons of sulphuric acid was purchased for Epstein Island on the day the FBI opened investigation into the paedophile's trafficking charges, newly released files appear to show

You cannot be serious.

An email purportedly received by a new mexico radio host, supposedly from anonymous account and you want the f b I to spend time and money following up on "evidence" like that?

You are not aware of how much radio host love to play pranks?

I don't care if you answer that or not.But I would like a straight answer to this: what outcome are you hoping for specifically from further time and money being spent on this stuff?

Given all the information we already have, yeah, I'd say that is the best use of FBI resources.

At the very least, to drum these folks out of power like they are now doing in other nations across the planet.

okay, I'd like to see that if possible.

Who does the government have sufficient evidence on to drum them out of power and by what procedure?

15th post
I am going to need popcorn, butter, salt, and some M&Ms!
We are seeing a massive Prog Communist corruption system with social programs. Costing hundreds of billions of dollars a year if not trillions including state, regional and city governments.

I highly doubt the current government has the will to do that.

I highly doubt the current government has the will to do that.
Suppose they did, though. Suppose they said, "we need to make sure the guilty are punished!"

On whom do they have enough evidence to punish and by what procedure?

I hope you don't think that just being named in the Epstein Files is enough for them to go to prison. If Epstein said, "George McGeorge was one of my best customers, always wanting my youngest girls, not older than sixteen. They would need to rest for days after old Georgie got through having sex with their underaged bodies, and it would take me days to count the money he paid me to provide them!" do you think George will go to prison on that alone?

I see you aren't giving straight answers on this thread - out of character for you - so I'll answer for you: No. Highly doubtful that would be admitted in a court of law. Epstein is dead, under suspicious circumstances and so is inable to be cross-examined. So it would be a waste of time to bring a case against them.
