The story didn't say if Mrs. Lane took the complaint to management or not when the incident happened. If management at the store would not fill the order, then this is a news story. If one employee refused to fill the order, then complain to the store manager so the situation can be handled appropriately. The employee should be at least reprimanded or even fired.

If a place can be shut down for refusing to make a gay wedding cake, so can a place for refusing to contribute to a person's funeral. May that place be a thing of the past.
