To listen to Mamdani is to repeat the experience of millions over the decades and centuries who have been wooed by the siren song of pardisaic socialism. Nobody denies that a world where everyone prospers is desirable. One can only deny that men in and of themselves are not able to produce such a thing.

What the z-man wants to accomplish and what he is able to accomplish are most likely going to be vastly different things. He can't just walk into the mayor's office and order everything to be cheaper and more affordable. But this is what he's promising.

Don't bring down the curtain yet folks! This is going to be one hell of a show!

Today while listening to the BBC I heard the very catchy phrase that has been coined in New York City and curiously not shared by local media.

I think that, if elected, he will find that you can't make everyone equal at the top of the economic scale, but you can make them all equal at the bottom of it.
