No less that 17 people carved up like pumpkins on Halloween in Tokyo.

Japan is well known for its Draconian Gun Control, but it didn't help any of the passengers at all.

And remember, this is in an area when the martial arts of the Orient like karate, kung fu and judo are well known.

In an area with more enlightened firearms laws, most of this carnage could have been easily avoided.

This thread made Bernhard Goetz chuckle.

Kung Fu?? Ha, he probably went after mostly women and old people so he could up his death count -------- that's what most of these mass killers do. I like to keep count of the sexes of the victims so I can consider what his motivation was. I hope they publish that; probably they won't.

Holy shit, you're stupid.

What was "stupid" about that? He did carve up 17 people like pumpkins on Halloween in Tokyo.

And martial arts of the Orient like karate, kung fu and judo are well known.

It's also true that one individual armed with a concealed weapon could have immediately stopped him.

If you see some untruth to the OP, please enlighten me.

How so? Please explain.
"like a pumpkin" is a childish and disrespectfully inaccurate description of the crime in question.

How many passengers on subways in the US are concealed carry? How many mass attacks are actually stopped in such a manner? Most successful uses of firearms for self defense are in home invasion situations.

"Kung fu" is Chinese, not Japanese.

Only some fool who has seen too many movies would expect an Austin Powers judo chop to stop a knife-wielding madman under such circumstances. Real life isn't the movies.

Again, everything about the post was stupid.

Where is the empire of Japan?

You certainly proved everything you don't know about Japan or the Japanese people.
