Following the logic of the left, the Subaru Crosstrek, a vehicle with the highest safety rating from the insurance industry, is responsible for the most accidents......

So....according to left wing logic, we must implement an immediate, mandatory buyback of this vehicle.....

Anyone who fails to sell their vehicle back to the government will be subject to felony violations of the law...

This car has highest possible safety rating. It also has the most accidents in America

Anyone else notice that most of the people who drive a Subaru are lesbians?

Just an observation here.

The benign term "buyback" is a misleading government feelgood description of a violation of the Constitution. Democrats propose government confiscation of certain firearms ironically at the point of a gun and then modest compensation (or not) that they call "buyback".

The car is not the fault of accidents caused by the driver.
If because the car is safer, that drivers take more chances, that is not an indicator of a bad thing about the car, but about drivers.

Nor is any sort of government buy back legal.
For example, none of the people with VW TDIs that I know of, will let the government reprogramming of their ECU be done.
They are currently getting 56 mpg, and after the government recall reprogramming, they would only be getting 33 mpg.
So only an idiot would want to let them do it.
Especially since the only difference in emissions is a slight decrease in NOx, which actually is just plant fertilizer, and not proven to even be harmful at all.
There is no way to make anyone comply with a buyback or any government mandate like that.
