Explain how a population's relative level of good health is not relevant to surviving a global pandemic?

The USA overall is 350 deaths per 100K.

Sweden is 240 deaths per 100K.

Within the United states, AZ is tops with 460 deaths per 100K, and Vermont had 150 per 100K. That's a 3X difference.

Statistics need to be understood in contex.

Had he shown leadership at the beginning and not denigrated his health professionals that were advising him, people would have taken the steps necessary to slow the virus spread...and the effects on the economy and public health wouldn't have been so disastrous.

The number of reported cases is questionable to say the least. The accuracy of deaths related to COVID is even more questionable.
