Study After Study Now Validates the ChiCom Flu Lockdowns Did More Harm Than Good

Sweden's health delivery service is far more effective than what Americans endure:

Sweden

"Sweden’s universal health system is nationally regulated and locally administered.

"The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs sets overall health policy, the regions finance and deliver health care services, and the municipalities are responsible for the elderly and disabled.

"Funding comes primarily from regional- and municipal-level taxes. Grants are also provided by the central government. Enrollment is automatic.

"Covered services include inpatient, outpatient, dental, mental health, and long-term care, as well as prescription drugs.

"Regions set provider fees at all levels of care, as well as copayment rates for services such as primary care visits and hospitalizations."
Their population is 3% of the US, you’re comparing apples and oranges…

No one in our immediate family took the vaccine, no one caught COVID either…

Several family members and friends who took the vaccine have had some kind of malady, 2 have had shingles, 3 have had cardiac issues…

Do you believe the Covid shutdowns were a mistake?
There appear to be strong arguments in support of that premise.

We must learn from the shutdown mistake

From the files of Itoldjaso.
Average lives claimed saved is 16,000 in 20 in the US.
But average flu deaths are 36,000 a year.

Children greatly harmed mentally and educationally.
Check.

Economic disaster created impacting the poor the most.
Check.

Governments went full fascist denying basic human rights to citizens.
Check.

Suicide, eating disorders drug and alcohol abuse skyrocketed.
Check.

Mental illnesses skyrocketed and people now insist we accept the alphabet cult as normal people. Fringe mentally unstable people were sent over the edge and still live in paranoid fear today.
Check.

Anyone who fell for it--anyone who put a filter on any social media post that said "stay home, stay safe" or anything like, for instance--revealed themselves to be the weakest members of society.

Full stop.

People died because Trump, Republicans, the right wing, and alt-right media discouraged people from getting vaccines, promoted conspiracy theories about them, put forward miracle cures (hydroxy and ivermectin), denigrated safety precautions such as social distancing and wearing masks, and disparaged health professionals offering the best advice they had throughout the pandemic.

Sorry, the body count..all belongs to Trump.

Delusional.

Thank you for revealing yourself as unbelievably weak....but we knew that

Got nothing to do with it.

Your commercial is meaningless.

Sweden did close down some things...but not many.

Their biggest failing was that they let it get into several large rest homes.

Had there been a competent response from the very top of our government to COVID-19 at the very start, most of the lockdowns wouldn't have been necessary.
But..it was more important to hold pep rallies. :)

Yes, it was the state of New York that was telling people to attend festivals.

By either the observed case-fatality ratio or per 100,000 population, Sweden appears to have fared much better than the US.

Mortality Analyses - Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center

"For the twenty countries currently most affected by COVID-19 worldwide, the bars in the chart below show the number of deaths either per 100 confirmed cases (observed case-fatality ratio) or per 100,000 population (this represents a country’s general population, with both confirmed cases and healthy people).

"Countries at the top of this figure have the most deaths proportionally to their COVID-19 cases or population, not necessarily the most deaths overall.."

It's cool that you guys keep going back to the same tired, worn out safe havens you did two years ago....too bad there's no one listening. :)

You mean they are not ignoring the post mortem on the lockdown.

Which tells us what we already knew....they were a huge overreaction by the left in an effort to kill the Trump economy.

Which they did quite well.

Why would you think the overall health level of a nation's population has "nothing to do" with its ability to survive a global pandemic?

Never been to China either.
Explain how a population's relative level of good health is not relevant to surviving a global pandemic?

You've not shown a "relative good level of health" in your posts. The fact that you like their health care system (and so do I) does not make your case.

The USA overall is 350 deaths per 100K.

Sweden is 240 deaths per 100K.

Within the United states, AZ is tops with 460 deaths per 100K, and Vermont had 150 per 100K. That's a 3X difference.

Statistics need to be understood in contex.

Try again.

Sure....go ask the Italians about that rate of spread.

You're skirting the main issue here. If Trump had responded to COVID competently, most of the lockdowns would not have been necessary. Had he shown leadership at the beginning and not denigrated his health professionals that were advising him, people would have taken the steps necessary to slow the virus spread...and the effects on the economy and public health wouldn't have been so disastrous.
Bullshit.

Talk about whataboutism...

Dude, this was CHINA's fault, not Trump's.

Obama ok'd the funding, Fauci funded it, and the Chinese screwed up and released a nasty bug.

Your TDS runs strong.

Your masters have you thoroughly brain washed. They've found a scapegoat for you.

Funny, you never see THIS comparison:
  • Population, Sweden: 10.5 million
  • Population density, Sweden: 57.5 per square mile
  • Population, New York City: 8.46 million
  • Population density, New York City: 27,013 per square mile
Here's a REALLY tough question: In which population center is an aggressive virus like COVID likely to spread more quickly?

Those defending the egregious lockdown policies, how and why is it that it was okay to attend mass protests for George Floyd yet any other event was considered to be a “spreader”?

Dufus forgets Swedes live in high density population centers and gives the BS notion many Swedes live out in the fjords.

from your link George>>>>
We’ve had a natural experiment on how to deal with a pandemic. There were the best of intentions. But as Milton Friedman said, “One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.”
from Wiki>>>
Friedman's public policy theories are based on two core principles: 1) voluntary interactions between consumers and businesses often produce results superior to those crafted by government decree; 2) policies have unintended consequences, so economists should focus on results, not intentions.

Milton's own policies eventually resulted in consequences counterproductive to their original intent

Further, the Feds themselves repetitively make policies raft with consequences anyone can see.....except the Feds

This being our history , and many knowing our history, are painted tin hatted moon bats , for simply pointing it out

When the reality of an inept ,unqualified, shill governance so far displaced from their constituency they can't possibly relate to them is allowed to continue

The number of reported cases is questionable to say the least. The accuracy of deaths related to COVID is even more questionable.
