Here's how things go on social media. You remember the infamous "Hot/Crazy Matrix" video right? I think it's funny tbh but the dude who is saying never marry a woman below an 8 or whatever is himself maybe a four? Five? He's no Adonis. But he absolutely believes he deserves to marry an 8.

Personally, I go for intellect and personality before I go for looks.

If I were a narcissist, then yeah........I'd just go for looks, simply to bag 'em and tag 'em.
But that's not the kind of person I am.

And unfortunately, I've yet to come across another person that bases intellect and personality over looks.

Oh, and this brings to mind what Christopher Hitchens said about female comedians not being funny....he said men need to be funny because men are not very attractive, and so need humor to make up for it. Then he said, gleam in his eye, ladies you don't need to be funny. We find you plenty attractive enough.

He got raked over the coals by the Woke but he's mostly right. Though I don't find most men ugly.

I think that's just the superficiality of the times we live in. Social media has all but destroyed us.

My wife is absolutely gorgeous and the sweetest, nicest human being I have ever known. Meanwhile I look like a man that's worked in the Florida sun for 40 years. I didn't get her by being handsome. I got her by being handy.

This is something I talk to my Junior High school boys who have behavior disabilities. They often get frustrated at their unsuccessful search for a girlfriend and act inappropriately.

Girls have a narrow range of guys they are interested in, while boys have a much wider range. I'm surprised the 80% figure is that low. I would have said 90 - 95%. Girls are picky, guys are not. Guys would probably call 80-90 percent of girls at least average.

If a "7" says hi and smiles at them, she just became a "9."

So, it means that finding a girl is tough for a teenage boy. They meet a girl, she's average looking and so are they, so they think it will be a match. No dice, the girl will wait for the ten percent. Holding out for a hero.

After teen years, women start looking at other factors besides appearance and nearly everyone finds someone.

All a man has to do is put away the childish things like video games and porn, work on themselves, build a stable life and the women will fall in their lap. You don't have to have a bunch of money. You just have to demonstrate that your priorities are in order.
