But not in his possession when he was shot and he never pointed it at anyone. Therefore no imminent threat existed making the shooting unlawful. Chow will be sued in civl court and when its over he will be broke and he wont have store. Expensive bullet wasnt it

There were no witnesses. We don't know what really happened unless we have full access to the prosecution and defense evidence. I don't believe Chow still owns the store.

The kid went into a store with no money, no credit cards, no ApplePay. He has a nearly empty backpack, is wearing a hoodie, and packing a 9mm. Yep, he was on his way to choir practice. A jury from Richland County, didn’t buy what the prosecutor was selling. This wasn’t a far right conservative redneck jury. There were five blacks on the jury, two mixed race, and five whites. This is a very blue county and city. Harris won over 66% of the county’s votes and even higher percentage in the city. Chow said that he felt his son’s life was in danger.

If five blacks didn't see anything wrong with the shooting, then the shooting was justified or the prosecution failed. Of course, Superbadattitude screaming racism regardless.

So this 8th grade thug came into a store, looking all suspicious. Grabbed some bottles of water. Then when he noticed he was being watched, he put them back. But the store owner didn't know he'd put them back. The punk left the store, and the owner followed him to see where he went.
During the chase, the thug pulled an illegal 9mm, and Chow shot him.

After everything was all said and done, Chow is found not guilty.

And in response, this is what the community (those people) did to his store.

I'm surprised they left anything at the store at all. The cops must've showed up...
