I think one of the appeals of Fox News to its viewers is their shameless use of pretty female commentators, all dolled up with short skirts and exposed (very attractive) legs. Now I’m old, but not so old that I don’t see what is going on here!

I honestly prefer not very pretty news announcers on, say, BBC. At least there one can more easily pay attention to what is being said. Perhaps for some FOX viewers it is harder to see propaganda for propaganda when it is presented in always smiling and happy “pretty packages”?

Of course Tucker Carlson has his own variety of entertaining expressions he wears, from “angry as hell,” to “unbearably smug,” to that utterly fake “hopelessly confused” look he sometimes wears.

Tucker wouldn’t look very good in a short dress or sleeveless outfit, I’m sure — but then that’s not what he’s paid the big bucks for!

Goodness you must have very limited brain power if you can't pay attention to what's being said because of a pretty face! No wonder Donald Trumps face gives you fits.

you have insulted Americans here, albeit hopefully unintentionally.

I doubt many of us believe a pretty face over a less than pretty one. We know Facts are facts... (only liberals are subject to such weird behavior)

I once read a bumper sticker that we shouldn’t trust the main stream media.

I don’t. In fact, I rarely even tune into Fox News (except to see an occasional Life, Liberty and Levin show or to see Gutfeld.

But if Fox News had been a bit biased toward the right, then ABC, NBC, SeeBS, CNN and MSLSD are absolutely biased toward the left.

Wht is really unconscionable is when reporters present OPINIONS as though they were facts. CNN and all those others u listed are practiced at this

Absolutely. Like, for example, when they “report” that something Trump has said and repeated “is a lie.”

They may believe it’s a lie. But their belief doesn’t make it a lie. So, objective reporting would demand that they instead “report” that his “statement has been challenged as wrong” or words tk that effect. But instead they state their mere opinions as though those were “facts.”

OF COURSE! This has been the norm for decades.
But do you actually think that Tucker Carlson — or official Fox “reporters” for that matter — are not equally “practiced” at this?

Let me say that not everything on every media outlet is opinion or “fake news.” But our big media is certainly corporate profit-seeking media, and it is as sensational as necessary to get eyeballs and listeners.

If you think I never question such things as: how Tuckeer and others word things (so as to please the Rs) you just don't know me.

But the left is so insane and evil (liars), you can't believe ONE word of what they're saying much less condone how they word things

Well, It’s true I don’t know you. I’m sure you believe everything you say, even about not being able to believe “ONE word” of the “evil, left liars.” But I never consider the corporate media “left” in any normal sense. I find the “Establishment” media, terrible though it is, often far superior to the MAGA right media, if only because it often must deal in reality (more or less) … as any ruling group must. Fantasists are often in another category altogether.

Of course I’m not talking about most politicians or activist personalities, or about those media that only play to their readers biases. Here truth and silly partisanship are virtually interchangeable.

Lastly, I suppose many might consider me one of the more “leftist” commenters here — but I try my best to never confuse my “opinions” with news or factual “reality.” I never intentionally lie, and certainly don’t consider myself “evil” or “insane.” I actually try to educate, at least in those few areas where I think I actually know something others may not. We just see things differently.

I agree except for one tiny thing:

I do not for one minute believe that they really believe what Trump said (or fill in the blanks story..) was/is a lie. They "turn it into a lie" with their fake reporting and I say they do it deliberately.. because all they care about is the Ds being installed in DC or retaining their position.

OMG

I had to stop in my tracks here...

You're kidding, right? You have to be kidding!

Actually, if you are not kidding... I just don't even know what to say because you are obviously hoodwinked... drank too much koolaid... (that stuff will kill you, ya know... please abstain)

Hey. We’re on the same page. I’m not saying Trump hasn’t lied. I’m saying that even when he hasn’t they call it a lie.

Only very recently have they even begun to challenge President Potato’s obvious lies.

I'd like to know why the owner of the bumper sticker should be trusted?

:dunno:
No need. 😀

We can all verify that advice as being sage and sound and so forth, ourselves. Just see how often the libtard MSM lies or spins.

I have never caught Trump in a lie... lots of exaggerations and maybe some distortions of reality here and there but never an actual lie. And I used to follow news way more back in the day when he was running in 16 (especially)... and I stay up with news now also..( just wish I could find out more.. but I guess everyone here would say that..)

So yeh... maybe u could tell me about the lies he allegedly told.. I am willing to face up to it if it is proven..

Why are there no bumper stickers saying Turn off The View
