Not at all. See when you pluck 11 words out of context and or make up some assnine story about those 11words, you really can't (or shouldn't) be suprised when taken in context they seems contradictory.

Those words aren't out of context. They were uttered in the exact order quoted. This business about how every time Obama gaffes with an inconvenient acknowledgment of his radical ideology that it's somehow been taken "out of context" is a ridiculous argument on its face. Consider the harsh criticism he'd already had in the days leading up to his UN speech on his FAILURE to immediately defend Free Speech. So, he gives it some lovely rhetorical lip service, and then says what he ACTUALLY means. Think about it... the political pressure on Obama wasn't to defend Muslim outrage, it was to defend the 1st Amendment. As usual, he does the right thing only when he's dragged to it, then undoes it at the earliest opportunity.

The article from the OP certianly took those 11 word completely out of context with the rest of the speech. Not that they weren't in order......Seriously "It sounds like as if he’s saying the future belongs to gay, feminist Muslims." Was not taking the speech out of context?

Only Muslims can cause themselves to erupt in bloody violence. No one else is to blame for their intolerance of free speech and reaction to it. They are the ones who respond to mere words with cold blooded murder and I cannot believe you and others would absolve them from blame just because they were offended. I suppose they would like Sharia law to rule if they find themselves in a U.S. court accused of murder. Does claiming you felt insulted justify homicide among Muslims?

It would be REALLY nice to see and imagine a Muslim world, where the adherents of their Prophet would have enough confidence in him, believe in his connections to God/Allah to realize that only a false god and a false prophet would EVER encourage murder and mayhem, only a false God and a false prophet would EVER teach that a father should kill his daughter for even looking at a male of a different religion, a different race and a different culture and religion. A prophet like that has NO connection to God/Allah, only to Satan.

It would be really nice to see Muslims realize that it is now the 21st century, and if they so hung up on outdated, idiotic and outmoded ideas and religion, they should eschew other benefits of the 21st century and communicate with phones and radio and TV and printing press and computer developed and invented by their prophet.

And it would be especially nice to see that Muslims don't drag Jesus Christ down to the level of Mohammed, by calling Jesus a prophet. Jesus is the son of God, and does not even qualify for being a prophet of Muslim standards. Not a polygamist. Not a pedophile. Not a murderer. Not an unforgiving and bloodthirsty proselytizer.

And most of all, it would be nice to see Muslims reach the mental level of Western Kindergarten kids who know that "sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me".

BTW, that same hope goes for idiots of other persuation, as well.
