Yes, he was. He was a great guitarist, but quite a vocalist, as well. We'll probably never see anyone as good as he was that performs rock/blues or blues/rock. Just an extraordinary musician.

Saw Jimi's first DC show with the Experience at the Ambassador Theater in 1967. Knew the bass player from The Natty Bumpo, and he said go.

To this day, I have no words to describe. It's great that Stevie extended the feel.
