This is the biggest problem of the post 1998 GOP. The pre 1998 GOP was about conservatism and patriotism to America. The post 1998 GOP, the "Fox News GOP," is about Israel and religion, and religion isn't the slightest bit conservative. Until the GOP figures that out, people like Zohran will win in America.

Israel went right into Iran and wiped out Iran's biggest assets. Somehow, after two years, we are to believe they did not wipe out an "army" of 30k with no armor, no planes, no satellites, no advanced missiles, just machine guns and RPGs...

Hamas was wiped out in a matter of weeks. What has appeared on US "news" since are Mossad actors pretending to be Hamas, all with brand new dry cleaned uniforms...

Neither "socialism" nor "capitalism" are your friends. Doing things in common is not "socialism".
Economic systems work because the majority of those working in them have faith in them. They stop working when that faith is interrupted.
"General welfare" aims at making society less ferocious and more peaceful and that is in the interest of everyone. Merely handing out goods and services and misusing the term "free" undermines self respect at the same time that it undermines the value of those goods and services.
The major problem with the concept of democracy and its offspring, republican government, is the failure to honestly confront the fact that at least half the population is intellectually incapable of processing the inherent complexities. It isn't that they are inferior, simply that they need protection from those who would manipulate them and their vulnerabilities, thus using them against themselves and the rest of society.
