Statement of the “Former JAGs Working Group” on Media Reports ofPentagon “No Quarter” Orders in Caribbean Boat Strikes

We are not in the business of feeding and clothing drug runners.

If there is a war on drugs then anyone running drugs is an enemy combatant, and uniformed or not, they can be killed on the spot. Same as terrorism.

The message to the cartels is clear: run drugs, expect to die. It's a good message. Long overdue.
Nope, they can NOT, under every law of war, kill two or one or 10 enemy combatants whose boat has been blown up, and are hanging on for dear life to the smashed up boat pieces....and no longer a threat.

You are required by law to get them medical help and take them in as POWS.

lmao !!! :lmao:

They weren't hanging on for dear life, they were trying to shoot down the drone with a flare gun!

You libtards are too much. :p

 No humans were in danger of dying.... silly one! And there was no flare gun shooting at the drone....did you create that made up scenario all on your own?

And Venezuela does not produce Cocaine....Columbia and Ecuador do....most of these men are local family men, with 6 mouths to feed....fisherman, down on their luck bus driver, ex cadet.....that are running the cocaine that these other countries produce and send thru their country to the coastal towns, to get to Trinidad and other small islands, 7 miles away for $500 dollars....which is like a million to them.....the Narco Terrorists, the Drug Lords from Columbia push the drugs through MANY countries surrounding them, Venezuela is just 1. Then the various islands send them to staging islands who send them to larger islands who consolidate them to ship them in to the USA via as big as shipping container some times.

These guys ARE NOT Narco Terrorists or gang members....most are local yocals that don't even own a single gun....

Columbia Drug Lords have many many arms in to many many countries getting cocaine in small proportions to smaller islands on to mid size and larger islands where the major drug trafficking operations consolidate them, to make shipments in the mega tons.

Picking Venezuela, out of all the countries drugs are run through from the drug producing Nations of Columbia and Ecuador etc., and drug consolidated larger islands who prepare mega ton shipments to the USA is odd and unexplainable.... unless one brings in other geo political factors that have NOTHING to do with the peon amounts of drugs running through Venezuela, like Maduro being an unelected dictator scum, and VENEZUELAN OIL, the largest oil reserves in the world is in Venezuela....

Death by liberalism. ^^^

This is a statement prepared and released by a working group of former JAGs.

JAG = Judge Advocate General, from the legal branch of the U.S. military,

They reach a simple but damning conclusion:

"The Former JAGs Working Group unanimously considers both the giving and the execution of these orders, if true, to constitute war crimes, murder, or both."

These statements might have more credibility if they were coming from people currently servicing in the role with some actual knowledge. Instead, it's always former members of this and former members of that who have had no direct involvement and can only speculate based on their past experience.

The former JAGs don't have "actual knowledge" of the military law they spent their careers studying, and which hasn't really changed?

I don't see how that makes any sense. Because it doesn't.

I also notice few have any comments on the material besides finding an excuse to dismiss it without consideration.

There is a total lack of any support for the claim.
The strikes were confirmed.

The events happened.

Someone gave the order.

Which is these facts do you deny? None?

The crime happened. Now its a matter of who committed it.

What specific little picture you paint. Got anything other than your overactive imagination to back that up?

Yes I am. It's plain as day to all but the foggiest leftist.
You clearly are not.

The arguments that you have not read (obviously) clearly apply no matter the status of these people.

Yet you thought calling them terrorists was a valid rebuttal.

It was not.

Without knowing exactly who these people are, it would be irresponsible if not downright stupid to take them at face value. Try harder.

As clearly explained in the OP material that these guys refuse to read, before commenting.

Not exactly....about the 3:00 mark.....thats a spicy meatball

They don't have actual knowledge of the current decisions being made because they aren't there nor are they privy to the current intel.

I'm not dismissing it. I said it would be more convincing coming from someone actively involved and currently in the know. You also don't know these people's political motives. We routinely see politicians and bureaucrats give stark criticism to the opposition party while keeping their mouths shut when they witness malfeasance in their own. It's difficult for me to take anything from either side with more than a grain of salt.

Their report doesnt require that, as you would know, if you read the material before commenting.

Of course, nobody's opinion requires anything. That doesn't change what I said.
It renders what you said to be irrelevant, actually.

You did a dance to avoid reading the material. Nothing more.

The laws didn't change. The JAGs' knowledge of it did not change.

But hey, who needs expertise anyway.

You know what I said and you know what I mean. I am not arguing with you about it further. Have a nice day.
