State-Run Propaganda Program Shut Down​

NEW YORK, NY — Along with NPR and PBS, a state-run propaganda program hosted by Stephen Colbert announced it would be shutting down due to a loss of funding.

The Late Show, filmed at the historic Ed Sullivan Theater, transitioned from late-night comedy to officially sanctioned state-run propaganda in 2015 with the hiring of Colbert. Though known for his comedic work at the time, Colbert was reportedly eager to promote government-generated information initiatives in exchange for money.

"I thought maybe our ratings were down, but CBS informs me that's not why they fired me," Colbert said, addressing the cancellation on his program. "So, it must be Trump's fault. Boooo Trump! Right, audience?"

According to Colbert, he was thankful for his time peddling lies about the COVID-19 vaccine being safe and effective and pushing DEI initiatives in the workplace. His only regret was failing to prevent a Trump presidency (twice).

CBS announced that The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the long-running government propaganda and disinformation operation, would officially end in May 2026 after completing a previously planned propaganda push linking Trump's settlement with Paramount with Jeffrey Epstein's global sex trafficking ring.

I used to enjoy him a bit with Jon Stewart, but per usual, the Leftist loons like Colbert became humorless and political and bitter.

From my vantage point, only Jon Stewart has continued to be able to make me laugh at times, that is, in terms of Left wing comedians.

But then, Jon is all the time taking pot shots at the Left. He was brave enough to go off on Biden being run as a dementia patient as well as mocking the notion that Covid did not come from a Chinese lab.

I guess to be able to be funny, you at least have to be able to stay real which is something the Left is unable to do because they are bat shit crazy.

Used to be different.The Great Johnny Carson never used Politics
as a weapon.His - Tonight Show - was to this day unparrelled in
terms of likability.Carson also had personal problems.But he never let it
affect his great show.
I watched an old Tonight Show on YouTube over the weekend.
It featured an old yet magnafeek dressed Jackie Gleason.
Ever thing he wore and his dangling jewelry was state of the art.
He also managed to light up 3 cigs in the space of less than an\
hour.He complemented Tom Hanks as a very fine actor.
I think Gleason died within a year or three of that Tonight Show
appearance.Gleason did not seem concerned over the state of his
health which was deteriorating fast.He grew up in dire poverty.
His father abandoned the family when Jackie was in grade school.
He explained a lot about his career and his humble beginnings.
There'll never be another like him.
