Starving Kenyans insulted by New Zealand offer of food

Granted, they offered them dog food. However, its still pretty ungrateful. If this food has been accurately described its perfectly safe for human consumption and would grant the nutritional needs. I mean i doubt id want to eat dog food either, but if you have a choice between starving and eating dog food id have to go with the eating choice.

Is that old urban legend about half of all dog food sales being really bought by the elderly to eat true? I've always wondered....

I think this whole food aid deal is a hustle anyway, its bad for the Africans because it depresses the value of any food they grow anyway, which only hurts the farmers more and leads to more food shortages later on because they can't afford to grow enough food for their populations.
