Watch 'Star Wars' episodes 1, 2 and 3 cut together into a single, more coherent story
Supposedly, Topher Grace (yes, the guy from "That 70s Show") did a fan edit of the Star Wars prequel films a while back just for fun.
This wouldn't be particularly notable in and of itself, except for the fact that his edit was, according to rumor, anyway, massively superior to the original product; having combined the three films into a single two and half hour movie, and cutting out many elements of the story which had annoyed fans for years.
This isn't quite that version, as Lucasfilm's legal department apparently confiscated it. However, it was made using the same working theory, and many of the same alterations Mr. Grace claimed to have made himself.
It'll probably be taken down shortly, so I'd check it out while you can. lol
