Redbud tree (left) blooms in mid to late february, Mountain Laurel (right) about now.

Mountain Laurel again, this time with Nandina berries underneath. The Laurel is very fragrant, lasts about a month depending on the weather.

Very pretty. But like WI TX is one of those states where I like the people a lot but hate the climate even more.

Here's a Texas Native plant that kicks ass!
The flowers smell so good!!!

I love when the Agarita starts putting out berries!!

You put a sheet under em and shake the shit out of the tree/bush.
