This looks like a fun place to eat. The posters and/or viewers who next visit their friends and relatives in Ramallah should try it out and give us their review of the place when they get back home..

Spongebob-themed eatery hits Ramallah

Krusty Krab lookalike venue, currently under construction in West Bank, seeks cooks and waiters

BY TIMES OF ISRAEL STAFF June 27, 2014

The underwater-world famous Kraby Patties, those signature sizzling burgers masterly grilled by Nickelodeon’s Spongebob Squarepants on the smash hit TV show of the same name, seem set to make their first ever debut on land in, of all places, the West Bank city of Ramallah.

According to the International Business Times, a restaurant modeled after the cartoon seabed eatery known as the Krusty Krab is currently under construction in the Palestinian city, complete with a statue of Spongebob’s money-grubbing boss, Mr. Krabs himself.

well----I have been told-----that lots of those little bugs of the sea ARE halal----
no doubt you know----lamb sausage---the Moroccan thing. oyster skin?
oysters have skin?------I never heard of eating barnacles----Japanese---I think---
have figured out a way to make jelly fish .....appetizing----it seems to me that
---based on my limited understanding----they would be halal I believe that
Algerians eat snails-----out of love for the French. Is there really an eatery named
"chum bucket"? very poetic is it true that SHARK has been
"overfished" -------people eat shark? I would be afraid to cut into
a shark---------

Scavenger fish and shellfish are not kosher, but there are a few exceptions for halal for shrimp and lobster. I love oysters, but smoked not raw. Snails made right are divine.
Shark is actually quite good. Making sausage drinkable just seems too strange for me. I like raw liver but I don't think I could swallow it in blended drink.
Who came up with the sponge bob menu? What was he smoking?

how does one purchase SHARK? whole? there is a small shark-----
called ---I thihk a "dogfish" ---actually it is a shark. I had to dissect one
in "COMPARATIVE ANATOMY" same animal---rows of teeth---etc.

I would be unhappy OPENING the insides of a SHARK---afterall----
they eat people------no doubt I would run into a person part,
even a button would destroy me-------a cuff link a hair ribbon......

uhm-----do the Chinese do something with shark fins-? shark fin soup?

raw liver? there is one weird thing I would like to try-----WHALE----
I have no doubt that whale probably tastes like meat----like beefy---
maybe------moby deserves to die anyway

Quite a few grocery stores used sell it in the seafood case/butcher area. I think regulations changed to limit the type of sharks that can be sold. If you have any oriental markets you can find a wide variety of exotic fishes cut to perfection.
Shark fin for soup has been banned in many countries.
Ask your local chinese food restaurant where they shop for specialty and sea foods. If you live near the coast, find the fish markets by the docks for the best fish. If there are any china town, little saigon or little tokyo communities, try their grocers.
You should be able to buy it online as well, frozen or fresh packed in dry ice.

Well they do eat tenderised entrails as shown by the video of the callous cold blooded murder of two Jewish youths, I wonder were they halal as well...............

Dog fish are a delicacy in parts of the UK known variously as rock salmon, hough, mock scampi and other regional terms. There are also rays, skate, monkfish, guitar fish etc all members of the shark family of cartilaginous fish. The dogfish grows to about 3 foot and lives on other fish and crustaceans, a delicate flavour but prone to going bad very quickly. And taint of ammonia and the flesh is decomposing and unfit to eat. There is a thriving industry for shark fins which are made into a soup by the Chinese, so much so that many species of shark are now in danger of extinction. Swordfish is also a cartilaginous fish I believe and is very meaty like tuna, bought as steaks so you don't see any stomach contents.

Raw liver tastes as liver smells and is a delicacy in Ramallah. Whale is just blubber or fat and can be quite rancid.
