South Korea may consider supplying weapons to Ukraine over North Korea-Russia ties

If you lament China's incidental benefit and think that is a reason not to assist Ukraine, then it is what you are suggesting.

One thing this forum does not lack is people like you that assign emotions to facts.

Just the oddest thing. It seems to be something all the partisan drones do from both sides.

You are familiar witht he word "if", I hope.

If not, take a moment.

....aaaand, were back. So, back to my conditional statement. Since it caused.confusion, I will ask directly:

Are you suggesting we lessen assistance to Ukraine, to lessen benefit to China? Pretty straightforward.

South Korea may consider directly supplying weapons to Ukraine as part of measures to counter military ties between North Korea and Russia, officials said on Tuesday, after accusing Pyongyang of sending troops to fight for Russia in Ukraine.
South Korea's spy agency said last week that North Korea had shipped 1,500 special forces personnel to Russia's Far East for training and acclimatising at local military bases likely for combat in the war in Ukraine.
A senior official at President Yoon Suk Yeol's office said it was preparing diplomatic, economic and military measures under various scenarios of military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow, including providing Ukraine with lethal weapons if the situation worsened.
"We would consider supplying weapons for defensive purposes as part of the step-by-step scenarios, and if it seems they are going too far, we might also consider offensive use," the presidential official told reporters.

Exciting times we are living in.

We need to ask ourselves who benefits the most from the non-ending fight over Ukraine.

The answer starts with C and ends with A.
I read it was 3000 not 1500

No.

Now your turn, how long should countries keep suppling arms and equipment to Ukraine?

Russia could probably keep this up for 10 more years unless something changes.

Until russia leaves entirely, or until Ukraine brokers peace on terms to which they agree.

Russia cannot maintain their levels of losses of armor and artillery for ten more years. And I don't believe they have the will to do so, anyway. Not for the Ukrainian stalemate.

And without these things, they are done. Then they are reduced to firing ballistic missiles at apartment buildings.

Send then Daewoos....At least they will have a decent rifle for a change. ;)

The answer starts with Ukrainian citizens and ends with Ukrainian citizens, whose alternative is bending the knee to a genocidal maniac who would see them murdered before allowing them to live free.
NK SOLDERS are totally useless in Ukraine, said a famous Moscow military expert

Obama and Biden bent over for him when he invaded Crimea and Ukraine under their watches.
That's a lie. Heavy sanctions were imposed.

To contrast, Congress had to pass a resolution to keep the orange rapist from easing sanctions on Russia.

Spot the difference.

And look at what has happened as a result. Every time the US looks weak it encourages our enemies even further. The idea is to deter before, not wait till boots are needed on the ground.

That's why we need Trump back. He talked nice, but backed up his demands.

In any negotiation you have two goals: "winning" as in making your opponent look bad, and "winning" as in getting the best outcome possible.

Obama and Biden focused on the first and got the worst posible outcome. You want four more years of that? Why? You'd like to see Poland go the way of Crimea and Ukraine?

Indeed they are not, but they do help the Russians, which keeps the war going...which makes both sides weaker in the long run. China is happy to see us waste our money and equipment in Ukraine
China would be happier to see NATO give up the fight against Russian aggression

Because it would make an invasion of Taiwan likely to be more successful
