That is mostly true, but I still need to see more done by him on the affordability issue. He said RENTS are coming down. Mine hasn't. I haven't seen anybody else's rent be reduced.

The last rent increase I got (in 2025) was a 10% increase. Trump clamed inflation is 1.7%. Too much money is coming out of my pocket for me to be comfortable with all this.

Do you think your rent would be lower if Harris had won? Obviously not, and your tax burden and many other expenses would be worse. Some things, like your rent, are just out of Trump's control. The dumocraps didn't care about affordability until they could use it to attack Trump. The truth is, your rent may never come down because that will also impact a key economic fundamental and could cause another financial crisis. In economic terms, housing costs are rather inelastic. But, now your ability to afford a higher rent is better and improving. My suggestion is the same suggestion conservatives have been making for a long time: make yourself more valuable in the marketplace and your rent will be easier to afford, especially when the costs of items with elastic demand are falling.
