The more astute and historically knowledgeable people understand this

.Although one day it might, Palestine doesn’t exist today. An independent Arab Palestine has never existed. It didn’t exist under the Ottoman rule or the British Mandate or, in the end, under a United Nations Partition Plan that was rejected by every single Arab state and Palestinian leadership. It didn’t exist when the Palestinians were governed by governments in Jordan and Egypt (a time when there was virtually no international pressure to create an independent Palestine) and it didn’t come into existence when the Arab states rejected Israel’s peace gestures after the 1967 and 1973 wars..

Sorry You're Offended, But 'Palestine' Does Not Exist

If someone is so sure that "Palestine, the country, goes back through most of recorded history," they should be expected to be able to answer a few basic questions about that country of Palestine:

1. When was it founded and by whom?

2. What were its borders?

3. What was its capital?

4. What were its major cities?

5. What constituted the basis of its economy?

6. What was its form of government?

7. Can you name at least one Palestinian leader before Arafat?

8. Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation?

9. What was the language of the country of Palestine?

10. What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine?

11. What was the name of its currency?

Choose any date in history and tell what was the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, GB pound, Japanese yen, or Chinese yuan on that date.

12. And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?

Now all you have to do is travel to Israel, Lebanon, the WB, Gaza, Jordan, etc, etc... and convince them they don't exist and we will have instant peace.

Knowledge is power but you have to acquire the knowledge first.

We need a volunteer to go to the Middle East and tell them they don't exist as a people, that they are just "generic" arabs.

Arab Historian Admits there is No Palestinian People

'When the Ottoman rule ended, there was no Palestinian national identity or political borders. It was all made up later. Arabs themselves say so, but the west isn’t listening

One of the biggest, most stubborn and costliest untruths of our time is the notion that the jihad waged by Arabs in the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Gaza against Jews in Israel is a national struggle of an indigenous people for independence.
No matter the facts, the lie persists to the tune of billions of dollars in international aid and political prestige, which makes it increasingly difficult for anyone involved to admit that the whole thing is nothing more than a propaganda stunt.
Unlike the fairy tale of ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’, everyone pretends to be blind and deaf when it is pointed out that the emperor is naked. In fact, if the emperor himself were to stand up and yell, ‘I am naked folks, go home!’ the crowd would go on complimenting his non-existent garments.
Last week the naked emperor did just that:

“Before the Balfour Promise, when the Ottoman rule [1517-1917] ended, Palestine’s political borders as we know them today did not exist, and there was nothing called a Palestinian people with a political identity as we know today”,

historian Abd Al-Ghani admitted on official PA TV
“Since Palestine’s lines of administrative division stretched from east to west and included Jordan and southern Lebanon, and like all peoples of the region [the Palestinians] were liberated from the Turkish rule and immediately moved to colonial rule, without forming a Palestinian people’s political identity.”
In 1917, says this Arab historian on official PA TV, there was no such thing as a Palestinian people. This statement amounts to saying that the whole narrative of an ‘indigenous Palestinian people’ was made up at a later point in time.
As Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad speaking on Al-Hekma TV said in March 2012: “Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis. Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians…”
There is a reason, why the “Palestinian National Museum” is empty of historical artifacts.
The Arab historian’s admission corroborates the observations of 19th century travelers to the region, who notably had no specific political agenda when they visited, unlike so many visitors to Israel today:
”Outside the gates of Jerusalem, we saw indeed no living object, heard no living sound”, wrote French poet Alphonse de Lamartine about his visit in 1835.
”The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population.” wrote British Consul James Finn in his 1857 description of the Holy Land.
”Palestine sits in a sackcloth and ashes. Over it broods the spell of a curse that withered its fields and fettered its energies. …Palestine is desolate and unlovely….It is a hopeless dreary, heartbroken land.” wrote American author Mark Twain in his description of his visit in 1867.
Nevertheless, the Arab propaganda machine gets away with publishing fantastic falsehoods, such as this one on the Palestinian Authority’s tourism website: “With a history that envelops more than one million years, Palestine has played an important role in human civilization. The crucible of prehistoric cultures, it is where settled society, the alphabet, religion, and literature developed, and would become a meeting place for diverse cultures and ideas that shaped the world we know today”.
The international community not only approves of these falsehoods, it happily pays for them.
Historian Abd Al-Ghani’s declaration on PA TV was a historic, highly newsworthy admission that ought to have made the headlines everywhere, considering the importance the issue is given by political leaders, diplomats, the media and other establishment figures all over the world.
After all, if the Arabs themselves admit that the ‘Palestinian people’ is an invented entity, should not the consequence be that the countless UN projects, billions of dollars in international aid, and the endless campaigns against Israel cease and be used for more noble purposes?
The answer is yes, but no one is paying attention.
We live in a post-factual world. Facts no longer have any currency, unlike feelings and ideological posturing. The truth has been reduced to a troublesome inconvenience and if it happens to stare you in the face, nothing could be easier than closing your eyes or simply looking away.'

The Palestinian people (Arabic: الشعب الفلسطيني, ash-sha'ab il-filastini) are an Arabic-speaking people with family origins in the region of Palestine. Since 1964, they have been referred to as Palestinians (Arabic: الفلسطينيين, al-filastiniyyin), but before that they were usually referred to as Palestinian Arabs (Arabic: العربي الفلسطيني, al-'arabi il-filastini). During the period of the British Mandate, the term Palestinian was also used to describe the Jewish community living in Palestine. The Arabic-language newspaper Falastin (Palestine) was founded in 1911 by Palestinian Christians.

The origin of the Palestinian Arabs

On a more contemporary note.....................
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich delivered a speech in Paris saying the notion of a Palestinian people was artificial.

“There is no such thing as a Palestinian nation. There is no Palestinian history. There is no Palestinian language,” he said in France late Sunday. He spoke at a memorial event for a French-Israeli right-wing activist who denied the existence of a Palestinian nation and advocated annexation of the West Bank. The lectern was adorned with what appeared to be an image showing the map of Israel that included the occupied West Bank, Gaza and Jordan.

Palestine was a geographical area and it was also known as the Levant

It was never a state or a nation...the people living in this area were arabs, Jews and Christians.

There is no specific group in past history known as Palestinians....again it was a geographic area not a nation, state or people.
The arabs in that area beginning in 1964 adopted the name 'Palestinian' for political purposes which has deceieved many and created many problems.

It is time that the truth be told.

Your statements are absurd.

Herod the Great was appointed as the ruler and king of Palestine aka Judea, by the Romans - as such a nation termed Palestine did exist.
His father Antipater - founder of the Herodian Dynasty in Palestine - Caesar appointed him procurator of Judea in 47 bc.

Like most people living in Palestine - Antipater and his son Herod were Arabs, that had partially converted to Judaism - whilst many did not convert to Judaism but living in a state called Palestine and also referred to as Kingdom of Judea. Therefore all those having lived in Palestine - Arab Christians, Arab Muslims, Arab-Jews and those of "pure" Jewish heritage are considered to be Palestinians. Only those of pure Jewish heritage (basically Russian and European Jews) aka Zionists, thought to reestablish their previous King David kingdom.

The Jewish council lead by David Gruen aka Ben Gurion and his Jewish "immigrant group" had realized that he could not rely onto a UN or US backing in regards to establishing and surviving in a rag-rug Israeli State within a Palestine state. - or if you prefer, alongside a Palestinian Arab state. Therefore he took matters into his hands in regards to forcefully establishing a realistic territorial state called Israel, via occupying Palestinian territory ceded to Palestinian Arabs by the UN. - thus leading to an exodus of Palestinian Arabs, resulting into the Palestinian refugee crisis.

The neighboring Arab states and Egypt - especially after having been beaten soundly by the Israelis and incl. some Bedouin Palestinian Arabs in 1948/9, were never interested to help to solve this situation since they do not regard Palestinian Arabs to be their kind of Arabs aka Bedouins. Furthermore being aware that these "Palestinians" will always give them a reason to oppose and if "suitable" to attack Israel.

Even when the Arab league decided to attack Palestine, aka the Israeli formed military units - it was NEVER about helping the Palestinians, but simply to avoid an Israeli state coming into existence and therefore taking over Palestine.

Now you know it's a baldfaced lie when they say half the Palestinians are Saudis. Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Palestinians are from Syria Palestine, Jordan and Lebanon... the Levant. Everyone is related. They have been around for thousands of years. In the past 200 years they also had stamps, currency and newspapers.

They didn't immigrate from Russia or Europe or Iraq, Iran, Libya etc.
