Obviously, I figure, the Administration and the Trump crowd, do not want the investigation public, as Trump's name must figure prominently. Not that it really matters, as elected the second time, unable to run again, and Republican clearly having no stones or stomach to temper even illegal, unethical actions while in office, there is no downside to his presidency. I am also amused and entertain by the fact that even devoted Republican Trumpers are at the forefront, people such as Marjory Taylor Green (that I usually have no use for, whatsoever) are speaking out, even intending to name names of Epstein's known close associates, and have them read into the Congressional Record, for posterity. I have no pity for those that associated with him, in that group of prominent. I was raised in a very religious, strictly conservative upbringing to know, that one is known by the company they keep and are thought to be of the same cloth, if they ran, willingly (especially gleefully) in a bad crowd. So, let the chips fall where they may, as an object lesson for adults to watch who the associate with.

I suspect it will be confirmed, he was aware, and accepting, until it became public, and he felt the need to distance, but already the guilt by association was there. Some have talked about a blackmail scheme. I have no idea whether it is true or not, or the nature of incrimination Epstein may have had, real or trumped up (either one being a serious problem, even for a wealthy businessman, much less, somebody with political aspirations for fun and profit) and hard to explain publicly.
