Washington (CNN)New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said America "was never that great" during a speech on Wednesday, drawing criticism from President Donald Trump and the Republican looking to unseat him in November.

Cuomo made the comments in the context of a larger argument about gender equality and women achieving their full potential.

Cuomo, a Democrat, remarked at a bill signing event in New York City. The comment was met by an audible reaction from the crowd.

Trump built a campaign claiming America was not great.
That's because Mulato MaObama built an Administration determined on making America not great. He succeed by violating the U.S. Constitution, capitulating to weaker nations, refusing to secure the border, stripping all Americans of all basic rights, and collapsing the economy (over 10% unemployment under MaObama and the Dumbocrats).
He also defended Putin over our own intelligence community
Oh we know. That's one of many reasons why we hated Mulato MaObama. He bent over for Putin every chance he got. Was even caught whispering on a hot mic "I'll have more flexibly for Dear Leader Putin after my second election".

Bet you saw this:

"Barr: Obama probe of Trump launched 'without any basis'
'What happened to him was one of the greatest travesties in American history'

The Obama administration's counter-intelligence investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign was launched "without any basis," charged Attorney General William Barr in an interview to air Thursday night.

"Without any basis, they started this investigation of his campaign," he said.

But "even more concerning," the attorney general said, "is what happened after the campaign "to sabotage the presidency."

The IG also confirmed that the unverified dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele was used as primary evidence to obtain the warrants."

He has also added $3 trillion in debt in just this year
