The police raided my home yesterday with balaclavas and guns i broke with my pictures and videos the law regarding nationalsocialism. They confiscated my phone and lap top. I write from a very old phone. Im very scared and worried punishments are high for such things im not sure if my insurance covers a lawyer or if i can afford one. I did said im roma gypsy and my pictures are sarcastic and ironic but i dont know if they will accept my reasoning and explanation. If somrone ever liked morti and sees this maybe someone can help me? At least mentally with nice comments im really down.

All I can comment, is that you are not alone.

We here in the U.S. are very, VERY lucky, b/c most of us take our freedom of speech and freedom of expression for granted. Very few worry they will be targeted like this.

You are not alone. I am following one high profile case of one of my favorite political pundits, an American ex-pat who lives and writes in Germany. He has been arrested and indicted for satire as well.

In the U.S. we have a guaranteed right to freedom of speech. This is especially true of political speech.

It can of course happen that people may misunderstand what you’re actually saying. Maybe that’s your defense. I’d say speak with a lawyer. And that advice stands even if (as I suppose is the case) you have no insurance coverage for legal fees. Pay the damn lawyer.

Personally, I’m gratified to read that your apparent fixation on Nazi regalia is intended as political speech and sarcastic speech at that. I’m not sure that will help you with the authorities there.

Sometimes if I eat too much MSG I feel the same. Green tea, or teas with ginger, chamomile, valerian, or lavender will help out a lot.

I don't drink anymore, but that might help as well.
