In real life you get what you pay for. Or to put it in another way, you get paid for what you produce, or even more clearly, you get paid for the VALUE of your work.

When you get paid ridiculously more than the value of your work, your employer WILL try to find a cheaper alternative.

What is the value of putting a screw in place in every 10 minutes on an assembly line?

Is it 40.00/hour, 30.00/hour, 20.00/hour, or whatever a Chinese laborer or an unpaid robot would get?

If an employer invests millions of dollars in improving productivity, should the employee, with not a penny of investment, be a beneficiary of that investment?

The free loading unions seem to think so.

Between the pressure of self-aggrandizing unionists who seem to think that they are entitled to all the benefits obtained by the cost and the ambition and the effort of the employer and the ever increasing cost of production, can one blame an employer to try to relocate somewhere where the jobs and fair living they provide is appreciated, rather than reviled?

How are other countries able to make products cheaper than we can make them here?
