Red State! Amen.
I hope all of us who actually care about America enjoy this clip.

Vonn’s amazing comeback story might explain her clear joy and her tears. But I suspect it might also be related to hearing our National Anthem.

I truly like that song and the formal instrumental versions, in particular.

Does The Star Spangled Banner move you folks, too?

Congrats Lindsay! Great to see her back on the podium.
Another song that stirs my soul as much or more is "This is my Country." I remember seeing the base marching band playing it and it still brings chills.

I bet you cite the pledge of allegiance every morning in your nice trailer park. But first, you kneel and pray before your framed picture of the Orange Jesus.

You’re a dull petty little troll.

Congratulations to Lindsey. She is a phenomenal skier. I enjoy watching an American athlete win the gold and hearing the national anthem.

I recognize that some people in our country dislike the U.S. Flag and object to the choice of that song as our National Anthem.

But I see the flag of the United States as a symbol of hope in a gradually darkening world. And I feel moved by our National Anthem.

It’s inspirational and aspirational. (And, although the tune came from an old English drinking song, it remains a beautiful tune to my ears.). As JLW just said, I love it when the U.S. Olympic athletes win an event because it gives me a charge to see the Stars and Stripes being raised and that song being played.
