Why is it so much of the rhetoric coming from Republicans is one or another form of conspiracy theory?

Even folks overseas recognize it. Folks here at home see it.

Well, except there is also the conspiracy of Vince Foster's death, the Clinton body count in general, the Clinton's role in distributing cocaine, Clinton being a lesbian, Clinton calling people N*gger. Hell, you had a plant in the white house who outed Lewinski by pretending to be her friend.

There was a conspiracy against the Clintons. Not to say she is an angel, but I think if we had a full fledged internet back then like we do today then it would be on par with what Obama faced during his presidency.

Let take the Rigged Election spin and how many on the left believe Donald Trump is just accusing the Democratic Party of rigging the election but if you follow Donald Trump comments you will notice since the Primaries he has said the election is rigged by both sides and not just one or the other...

Is he correct?

Conservatives are, for the most part, ideologues – they adhere blindly and faithfully to rightwing doctrine and dogma.

And when the voters appropriately reject errant, wrongheaded conservative doctrine and dogma, it becomes impossible for conservatives to accept that rejection, because they believe that rightwing dogma is ‘correct.’

As a consequence the ridiculous, delusional conspiracy theories begin:

The election was ‘rigged.’

There was ‘voter fraud.’

Conservatives will never accept the fact that they’re wrong, and that the voters reject the failed conservative agenda.

The thread is about rightwing conspiracy theories, not Clinton – but the attempt to deflect is understandable, given the fact conservatives can’t defend their delusional conspiracy theories.
