What about the campaign to remove racist writers from libraries? If they're going to remove Mark Twain, then they really need to get rid of any mention of Mahatma Ghandi as well. Booker T Washington was a notorious racist, too; some of his quotes would offend DJW's no end, if they were literate and could read. Louie Armstrong said some offensive stuff about black people. Where will it end? lol

Lincoln has to go, too; he ran on a white nationalist platform, and murdered close a million 'freed slaves' in contraband camps to keep them from fleeing north. Some 700,000 to 1 million died from starvation and disease, same as they did in Nazi concentration camps. Lincoln killed more black men, women, and children than any other white man in history. Poll: Americans Believe Confederate Statues Should Remain Standing by 12-Point Margin

A greater percentage of U.S. voters say Confederate statues, which have been targeted by protesters in recent weeks, should remain standing.

The survey, taken June 6-7, showed that a greater number of Americans believe Confederate statues should remain standing, 44 percent, as opposed to the 32 percent who say they should be removed. Twenty-three percent expressed no opinion on the matter.

Mind blowing that republicans on this board, day in and day out, remind democrats that they were the scummy slave owners and the party of most of the KKK, while the republicans were the pure and holy party of Lincoln...

Yet,
It's republicans now who wrap themselves in the confederate flag, and fight tooth and nail to keep these Democrat confederate hero statues up, and front and forward, in the public...while the Democrats are ready to remove these once heroes of theirs.

So, no MLK statues. No Harriet Tubman statues. No Rosa Parks statues.................No African American Civil War Memorial.........No Freedom Riders National Monument...No Booker T Washington National Monument......No George Washington Carver National Monument?
