The United States national debt has reached a precarious milestone, hitting 100% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and placing the nation on a trajectory that could trigger six distinct types of fiscal crises, according to an ominous new warning issued Thursday by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB).

It is not a matter of if, but when and how this crisis will unfold.

But the sad fact of the matter, most only care about one thing, and that is can they blame it all on the political party they hate? Or even better, blame it all on "Capitalism" or the Jews

The truth is, there are no political parties out there, or are out there of relevance, that have voiced concern over this rising crisis that was 100% government created. It is the byproduct of an oligarchy of power that usurped their constitutional authorities and obligations, and is comparable to treason in my view as it is literally the greatest threat to the Republic.

Ok then kids, start blaming the other guy as you offer no solutions going forward

Go!!!!

There have been those that have tried.

I know Elon got into DOGE with the intent on trying to tackle the problem, but once he did he regretted it as the Left declared him a Nazi and began to torch his car dealerships

He then had a spat with Trump over it, demanding that Trump do something more than he already was as he left DOGE after realizing his efforts were for the most part futile in a system that was hopelessly corrupt and out of control and not threatening his very life for getting involved

Then Elon began to make noise about starting another political party to address it, but I think has come to his senses realizing that that is not realistic either. Now I think he has resolved himself hoping that AI can save the world, which it won't.

Having said all that, I thank Trump and Elon for at least daring to help expose all the corruption and abuse, which no other two people in government would have had the courage to do, as Trump had to dodge assassination after assassination and Elon had to watch his car dealerships go up in flames. It took courage, which most people simply do not have.

I have always supported the Article V movement, which is for states to rise up and amend the Constitution for the first time in US history. Article V in the Constitution gives states this power to try and restrain a federal government that has become too corrupt and abusive, which it has. My only question is, is this even possible to do. Many who signed the Constitution would not sign it without this provision, showing how important it was to them and how they feared a federal government like the one we have today, but did they make it too hard for states to wield their Constitutional power?

article 5 wont work at this point,,

to many progressives in both red and blue states,,

I'm not arguing that there is a huge problem with the debt but for how many decades have "watchdogs" been predicting the same thing?

The shit will hit the fan in it's own time just like the next stock market "crash".

Better to do something with the risk of it being bad then do nothing with the knowledge that things are going downhill anyway.

That does not mean we should not try and just give up.

What better things do we have to do?

If you have a better suggestion, I am all ears.

We need a POTUS who wont rest until American citizens have a healthcare system that’s at least on par with the system we provide Israelis and a pension system we provide Ukrainians

America First

I think Trump only targets what he thinks he can accomplish and avoid things that would isolate him from his own party and the rest of the Swamp regarding things he cannot fix that would reduce the chances of him getting anything passed in Swampland.

He is not an ideologue; he is a pragmatist. Trump would try to strike a deal with the devil himself to try and accomplish something. Speaking of which, you see him try to do it every day with people like Putin and the DNC and Rhinos.

Luckily, we have a fiscally responsible president. LOL
No, but Trump is as close as you are going to get.

The only way to correct the system is for outside intervention at this point, namely states rising up to amend the Constitution.

It may be a long shot, but it beats giving up.

All of that problem started in the mid 1990s when the GOP ceased being a fiscally conservative party and became a big spending big government Fox News Israel matters America does not party...

Not that it will concern Pro Israel Christians, they don't understand basic math...
