As I think everyone is aware the primary, yet specious, line of defense in Don's case regarding his efforts in overturning the election is the claim he is being prosecuted for exercising his right of free speech. A defense that has been completely debunked in the charging document issued by Jack Smith's office.
I'm wondering what the board's conservatives think about Tlaib being censured for expressing her opinions concerning the Israeli/Hamas conflict? Rep. Jamie Raskin (D) took to the floor of the House in defense of Tlaib and said...“The resolution … is all about censuring her for her political speech and literally, literally nothing else. No actions, no conduct is being alleged or punished.”
The resolution put forth by Richard McCormick (R-Ga.) stated Tlaib is accused of “promoting false narratives” regarding the Hamas attack on Israel in October. Yet the House is full of Repubs who have promoted a false narrative about the 2020 election...........and many more. Not that hypocrisy is something new. But this seems to be a particularly egregious example.
