It is believed that the Indo-Aryan male marker is R. In fact, R is the sister group of haplogroup Q from the common ancestor P.

But in fact, the most exact match in the localizations of ancient Indo-Aryan cultures, including Scandinavian metal and Celtic Hallstadt, is not R, but Q.

This also coincides with the localization of the monuments of runic writing. The earliest of them was in Altai.


It is not known whether the R marker is Indo-Aryan, but the earliest Indo-Aryan cultures were created by the carriers of the Q marker.

There are not many of them left in Europe, but the concentration gives a clear match with the Hallstadt and Scandinavian cultures.
