Democrats vs. Trump: Who's the Better Bet?
I've seen this question asked many times and again and again, they say Bernie is way ahead of Trump.
The truth is, neither Bernie nor Trump have been really vetted by the press.
On policy, Bernie can't change. He has been spouting the same policies for the last two years, even if he can't define them.
Trump can and does say anything he wants. Politifact rates 76% of everything he says as lies. His people don't care. They just repeat what he says, make America great again.
Bernie says he admires Castro, not the gay street in San Francisco, but the brutal dictator in Cuba. He says Castro brought bread lines to Cuba. He says he wants revolution. He said he didn't know how big too big to fail is. He said he would leave it up to the banks on how they break up. Trump would eat this guy alive.
Trump says he admires Putin. Talks nuclear weapons. Religious bans, walls. His base loves it.
Both talk about bringing jobs back that don't exist so they both lie.
Hillary on the other hand. She has been fighting GOP smears for 30 years. No one could be as "evil" as they say she is. Every time the GOP says something awful about the Clintons, the press eats it up.
Do you think if the Clintons had taken the country into Iraq the way that Bush did, anyone would ever let it go?
Imagine if hundreds of Americans died in Lebanon like they did under Reagan, would anyone would let that go or not even question it?
Imagine if the Clintons promised a tax cut like the Bush tax cuts would create millions of jobs and instead created trillions in debt, would anyone have let that go?
Imagine of Bill said "good job Brownie" after Katrina, would anyone have let that go?
And yet there she is. And, if you check out the different fact checking sites, who rates the most honest? Hillary.
Who rates the most dishonest? By far, Trump.
Who gets the most negative press? By far Hillary.
Who gets the most positive? Bernie, then Trump.
I believe with the minority vote, women's vote and the rest of the Democrats, Hillary will win. As Trump is vetted, people will become frightened. He's already scary. But it takes really stupid people to not see it. But they will. With only Trump and Hillary, Donald will eventually have to take a stand on something. He can't dodge the press forever.
