Cool. Back him. And then if as you believe he loses, cry that the election was stolen.
He won't lose. A Romney clone will lose.

So how did McCain lose? He ran Uber Conservative. He said we would stay the course in Afghanistan if it took a hundred years to win.
How did Obama win against that kind of Conservative Message?
McCain evidently didn't excite the base, because Republican turnout was meh, and at the time Dems still had working class white men.

Both of these long posts are spot on, on multiple points. Well done.My friend. It looked like McCain stood a good chance. Not certain, but a good chance. Until the economic meltdown. When the housing bubble broke McCain was slow to pivot to the economy. Obama was much faster. As foreclosures skyrocketed and banks literally failed, Wachovia as one example, one among dozens, and the stock market was in free fall. McCain was still helping on build the wall and war on terror.
Then his poll numbers cratered. Someone in his campaign noticed the economy. McCain went from not mentioning the economy to suspending his campaign and the debate to return to Washington to work on this critical issue.
It didn’t help that Conservatives were railing against any Federal action on the economy. That policy was about as popular as Herpes.
McCain lost because the people expected Washington to do something, and Obama was calling on and promising action if elected. He promised shovel ready jobs. He was campaigning on the economy.
That is the history as I lived through it. And if you don’t remember any of that, look up some old in-depth news reporting from the era.
Now. Four years later Obama was running against Romney. And none of the Republicans had a better idea on pretty much anything. Obama was popular with the people. Much as Reagan was in 1984 when he went against Mondale. Another election I was alive for.
Obama’s big negatives were the idiotic Birthers, the moronic secret Muslim determined to destroy America. And his stupid moves when first sworn in. Moves he figured out were dumb and made sure to learn from. By the time Romney lost Obama was a master of public opinion.
Even the fuck ups were completely mismanaged by Conservatives. Benghazi. Idiots. Completely fucked up by Conservatives. All they could do is whip out insane conspiracy theories that didn’t have the truth in sight much less locked down.
One day I’ll tell you what it really was. When I have the time to track down the links and explain it to you slowly. Probably with puppets.
Romney didn’t lose because he was more moderate than you liked. Romney lost because a sitting, incumbent, President was popular. That is always hard to beat. Ask Mondale. John Kerry, and a host of others.

All that typing ruined by a condescending little swipe, that now makes me ignore you from now on. Not actual ignore, but ignoring just the same.
The only thing you RINOs are able to beat is your own side.
You have to type that. You have to say it. Because you need a reason to avoid the truth. But because you wrote it I know you recognized the truth when you read it. And I know you were desperate for an excuse, any excuse to avoid dealing with it.
You should thank Romney and his loss. That got you Trump. The small minded thought Romney lost because he didn’t get in Obama’s face. They flocked to Trump who was as insulting as they wished Romney had been.
Here Trump got lucky. He was going up against Hillary. Hillary was another awful candidate. Romney would have wiped the floor with her. Plain would have kicked Hillary’s ass.
They just would have done a lot better job in office. Just about any Republican would have.
So take your claim that it was my little comment that ruined it, and file that idiotic claim where the sun don’t shine.
