So Trump DOES Want Venezuela's Oil. I Thought It Was Only A War On Drugs!

Wow, so you are really out of it and the issues at hand then.

Why? He was a podcaster and speaker whose target audience were people younger than my children. Why would I know who he is?

So you think the USA (your country) is no better than Putin and the Russian Federation? Interesting. If this were really Russia, you'd be arrested and taken out of your home for making such a comment then tried for sedition against the motherland. But I understand your confusion:
  1. Russia invades a sovereign neighbor and tries to steal back part of the country.
  2. The USA stomps on Venezuela's feet for murdering thousands of our citizens with narcotics and for violating an embargo.
Yep, no difference there. :smoke:

The US has invaded a number of countries over the past couple of decades, but I guess that is different in your view.

good, then when America's enemies come for you, you sit there and tell them that as they are sticking a knife in your back.

I will buy them a rum drink and ask them to enjoy the sunset with me.

Glad to hear you think defending our borders, the American people, and protecting US law and interests makes me a "stooge."

Xi Jinping has your check in the mail.

What makes you stooge is accepting everything they tell you without question.

What makes you stooge is accepting everything they tell you without question.

What makes you funny is your inability to put together a cogent sentence then try resorting to the tired cliché that anything I say you disagree with must then obviously be the work of some brain-washing cult! :auiqs.jpg:

Too funny. :laughing0301:

That was a made up right wing claim.

By the time they floated it, it had become embarrassingly apparant that the Bush case for war in Iraq was a fraud, and that it had been very badly managed from the outset.

This one didn’t grow legs outside Limbaugh looney land. It sounded too much like all the other lies.
Actually the claim came from the second in command of Saddam’s Air Force…and eyewitness to the move

General Sada confessed that Saddam shipped the WMD to Syria. Do you plan to defend Saddam Hussein?
General Tommy Franks put to rest whines by Democrats over both Iraq and Afghanistan. Franks invaded Iraq. Franks plans worked in Afghanistan when he supplied Afghani forces to defeat the Taliban. We had just air forces sent to fight the Taliban.

General Colin Powell is who said Saddam still had WMD in Iraq. He did not know Saddam shipped it all to Syria.

Not yet, but I'll bet our drones are over there doing a little recon.

We can probably resolve details down to notebook size from a spy satellite in orbit in space.

I figure our SOTA has to be about 10X sharper than the stuff released fit for public consumption.

Actually, Saddam gave all his WMD to Qaddafi in Libya, who buried it in the sand out in the desert, and US forces found and dug it up about a year after the Iran/Kuwait War. It was very degraded by then and not of much use, I guess the leftovers from when he gassed the Kurds.

But the claim that there was no WMD or that the US made it up is leftwing bullshit designed again to discredit republicans and the USA. Just about every nation in the UN signed onto that war based on the universal agreement that Hussein had WMD and presented a significant potential terroristic threat to the world after 9/11.

Shortly before America invading Iraq, several news sites reported about convoys going into Lebanon, & Syria.

Within a few years afterwards,.... Syria announced that it had a Nuclear program, that was soon bombed by Israel.

From all of the data that I've looked at Iraq never had an advanced Ballistic Missile program, but it did have a small nuclear program, as well as a Chemical/Biological program.

Saddam gassed a village of "protesters", that weren't armed rebels, & every man, woman, child, & animal died in that village.

Was there enough of any program that could be used against America, as the Bush Jr. Admin. proclaimed? No!

The Invasion of Iraq, was an Undeclared, & Unjustified War,...... Which The "Twitter-in-Chief" is leading America to with Venezuela.

If,... Trump had American Forces intercept those boats in American Waters, & they opened fire upon American Vessels,... Then Sinking those boats would be Justified.

What Trump is doing now, is An Unjustified Act of War, that will have Major Consequences for America.

I'd like to see the proof of that. From all of the Data that I saw,.... What Saddam had, went in to Lebanon, & Syria.

Or, from other point of view, Russia defends Russian people from Neo-Nazi regimes and expanding NATO murederes. And the USA attack innocent (anyone whos guilt wasn't proved is innocent) unarmed ships in high seas and steal even non-sanctioned ships of America's trade parthner under America's ally's flag.

But anyway, in Russia you won't be arrested just for saying that Russia is not worse than the USA (or that the USA are not worse than Russia). And while Russian exeptionalism is more or less common in every-days life, if you are participating in a discussion about international policy, you should understand points of view of other players. You must understand why Americans do what they actually do (there are reasons even if you don't see them) and what are their real goals. You can't just say "Americans do evil things just because they are evil". Of course, untangling real goals and real motives can be difficult thing.

Good, then when America's enemies come for you, you sit there and tell them that as they are sticking a knife in your back.
Or, he'll just make peace with them before they came. Russians or Chinamen are not monsters. We are rational human beings, and in most cases sticking a knife in someone's back isn't good neither for business nor for reputation.

In the case of American politics we don't deliberately stick knives, but what happens is the goals and priorities change every 4 years along with the regime. Right now half of America is very angry over the borders and crime, and for the other half it's inconsequential. So depending on which half gets elected, we get either deportations or free money for immigrants.
