So Trump DOES Want Venezuela's Oil. I Thought It Was Only A War On Drugs!

Yet no blockade of Columbia, no threats…it is almost as if they are not sitting on the largest proven oil reserves in the world

Yet there is no track record of the US ever having 'stolen' anyone's oil, but yet you seem to think that is the sole objective. Why?

You also have no idea what may happen in the future, perhaps a blockade will be sent off the shores of Columbia and/or Mexico, and you'll ***** about that whether there is oil involved or not.

Yes, he is very corrupt, so are most world leaders.

And yes, the people of Venezuela do not like him all that much, but the US military actions are giving his detractors and his supporters a common enemy to focus on.

This game has played out many times for the US and it pretty much never ends well.

That is what the US government tells you. It seems that questioning what you are told is not a common trait on this site.
You can question all you want, but that doesn’t mean that everyone must feel the same as you do.

Yeah how many questions did you ask during the shutdowns during coivid, or masks, or 6 feet apart all of which fauci knew scientifically had no merit but instituted anyway

Very much so, hated stinking mask only wore one when the business I was going into asked me, as I am not a dick and would not fight with some wage slave just trying to do their job.

The 6 foot thing is just common sense, even before COVID if someone was sick I stayed further away from them, and I bet you did as well.

And it was not just the US government and Fauci, it was the whole world with most places being far more strict than the US. We did some travelling when we could until most countries stopped letting Americans in.

This is very true, the US is a sort of free country and you are more than free to accept whatever the US government tells you.

True, the US does not have that track record. But the US also does not have a track record of blowing up boats in the open seas and going back to make sure all the survivors are dead, yet here we are.

The US does not have a track record of the president going on social media and telling the whole world is goal is to take the oil from a country. At least GW Bush and Co were smart enough to lie about their intentions.

It is called history, try cracking open and book and learning some of the history of the US.

The US has long history of going to war based on total lies. Gulf of Tonkin, WMDs (which is ironic since the US government is using this one again with Venezuela) and more. It goes all the way back to the 1800s with the USS Maine.

I've been teaching history for over 30 years. How about you, big mouth? Eagerly swallowing every conspiracy theory that comes down the line does not make one a historian. As I said before, there is a whole sub-forum for nuts like you. Go play there.

Then it would seem you are part of the problem. You are teaching the US government approved version of history.

You teach what you are allowed to teach unless you work for some fringe private school.
I'm not "allowed" to teach anything. I teach history (among other subjects) as it is. I don't impose nutty conspiracy theories on my students. They get the information and are encouraged to reach their own conclusions. They are expected to be able to support those conclusions with real, serious facts from legitimate academic sources and/or primary sources. They are taught to distinguish between fact and opinion or speculation. We work on these critical thinking skills frequently.

You teach government approved history. No matter how many ways you try to spin it, that is the reality of your situation.

Well ... I don't want to pat myself on the back but when everyone was calling Trump a hero for bombing "drug boats" I was saying that he actually wants the oil and natural resources. Of course, I took a ton of flack for that (surprise, surprise). How dare I question the noble actions of Czar Trump? The most honest and conservative CONMAN on planet earth?

Anyway ... he accidentally admitted the truth. He's a warmonger who covets what isn't his. So he's going to use the US Military for his own gain:

This madman claims that Venezuela took "our oil" and "our energy rights" from their own land. The man is a lunatic!
