So the true purpose becomes visible

After mass firings, the IRS is poised to close audits of wealthy taxpayers

Some audits of rich individuals and corporations are at immediate risk of being closed prematurely without action due to a lack of personnel to complete them, according to several current employees at the tax agency. The handful of imperiled audits that agents described in general terms to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists could amount to millions of lost dollars in public revenue from wealthy people and corporations, although agents said this likely represents only a sliver of the agency’s lost revenue stemming from the firings.

“All of a sudden, these cases are going to be closed and we’re going to look like idiots,” said a senior revenue agent, who works within the IRS’s Large Business & International Division, which audits the country’s wealthiest taxpayers. “There is no one left to work them. The remaining agents have full caseloads.”

Seems pretty obvious that this was the point, don't you think?

Protect the billionaires at all costsFuck the little guy, he doesn't matter.
You getting all worked up over left wing propaganda is boring. We are done with your partys schtick. :cuckoo:

Sadly, no. Just another broken promise and future generations go into an even bigger hole.
That would be solved by changing to sales taxes. It works well for states and cities.

Where has the socialist left been? There is a legitimate industry dedicated to finding loopholes in the tax system and mostly wealthy taxpayers take advantage of the system and are routinely audited. Meanwhile democrat politicians take advantage of slush funds that redirect the middle class confiscated taxpayer funds to dark money laundering. That's what USAid was all about.
According to democrats, we all would be very rich and not paying taxes if only we got rich.

Tax billionaires? It's a radical idea I know but let's just give it a try and see what happens....
TRIGGER WARNING: Math.

Combined net worth of United States billionaires: $6.6 trillion

Federal spending fiscal year 2024: $6.75 trillion

You could confiscate every penny of those people's money and it wouldn't even pay for a whole year of government.

Then, when they're completely broke, who are you going to tax? Not them again, they're going to move somewhere away from your greedy hands and rebuild their fortunes.

"Tax the rich!!" simply won't do what you believe it will.

Trump saved the little guy from audits. Thank him for saving you too.
Well that's a lie. Little guy audits are much cheaper and less labor intensive. They will continue.

I've never whined about taxes going up. We created the debt and we shouldn't be putting off on later generations.

You prefer to be a deadbeat?

How do I make a contribution to the U.S. government?

Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States."

This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs.

These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Citizens can make financial donations electronically through pay.gov or in paper form.
Here you go! You're welcome! Happy to help! :)

But the yearly budget deficit shortfall is around 1 trillion. So they do have enough money for us to make up the hole in the annual budget, Dipshit.

You aren't going to be able to add $37 trillion in sales tax.
So, your answer to the debt, is if we can’t wipe it out in one year, then spend more, and shoplift? You’re a moron…

There are 500 billionaires in America

If you could take a billion from each one thats only half a trillion of a one trillion defecit
The Left knows this. They are not interested in solving the deficit as much as they are in achieving their class warfare dreams. They just don’t want a country with many billionaires. They’d rather have their party controlling all of the wealth and locking in a true 1 percent.

Including the entitlements while continuing to audit looking for waste, fraud and abuse
Social security isn’t an entitlement

I’ve been paying into social security since I was 15

I'm not interested in your making up arguments for me to then argue against.

It's quite dishonest.

Lefties think borrowing money and piling on debt can go on forever

But it cant

The IRS will never beat multi-billionaires at their own game, which is making and keeping money. Typical IRS tax auditor is lightly trained after graduating near the bottom of his or her (or xer) college class. With the emphasis on DEI over the last four years, the hiring pool declined further.

Multi-billionaires hire the best of the best tax law firms, for whom those DEI hires are no match. Funding futile investigations is not a sound investment of my tax dollars. It only enriches the tax law firms.

What I know is that this is fantasy, built to equivicate your support of concentrated wealth. No, I don't think a country should have billionaires. I don't think it's prudent for any society to allow such large concentrations of wealth, resources and influence to be held by a small few and nowhere have I seen a single Democrat suggest wealth should be concentrated in the hands of the Democratic party.
