Evolution has not been proven. Even Darwin said you can't prove evolution without finding the missing link, hasn't been found. God created life, if you don't believe that than, "Sorry for your dang luck!"

Scientific study is not the same as being on trial in criminal court where the standard of proof is beyond a reasonable doubt.
Scientific proof is always preponderance of the evidence.
There is an overwhelming amount of evidence to prove evolution and a definite preponderance of the evidence.
Explain to us how the scientific method, the foundation of ALL science, can be used in scientific studies OF ANY KIND, using your criminal justice method of BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT.

Evolution is about the branching of species from a common anscestor. If grizzlies and polar bears can mate, then they haven't sufficiently branched to become different species. Of course humans can't breed with apes, that branch happened over 5 million years ago.

Evolution isn't about to closely related groups mating, but about members of the same group acquiring characteristics that differentiate them from the others. As those differences accumulate over time, new species diverge from the old.

Just saying something hasn't been found, isn't scientific proof. Even if I hadn't seen pictures of the far-side of the moon that we never see from earth, I'd still have to believe it exists. As has already been pointed out in this thread, the Catholic church, one of the largest Christian organizations in the world, has embraced evolutionary theory. There have been people right in this thread who have attested to their Christian faith while also accepting evolution. The dilemma you posit is false.

I'll share an anecdote (actually, I think this was a true story but I don't quite recall for certain) once shared with me. A student walks into a college biology class on the first day of classes. The teacher holds up the textbook and says "This is a biology book. It teaches us about plants and animals." The teacher then puts it down and holds up a bible, saying "This is a bible. It teaches us how to have a relationship with God. Don't confuse the two or their purposes, and you'll be able to have both in your life, just like me."

My biology teacher said, "You don't have to believe evolution, you just have to understanfd the theory". The problem with those who don't believe is that they haven't taken the time to understand what the theory says and are, therefore, constantly talking about cats turning into dogs and such!!!
