Do you? You're simply saying the regressives are more violent than the fascists. I simply don't agree with your bias. I don't think reality agrees with you. When hate is all you have between two political tribes, there isn't going to be some cosmic mea culpa. No kumbaya. These tribes hate and want to destroy each other. There will be no compromise. The only thing they unironically agree on is the ends justify the means. I don't know why we keep trying to pretend this isn't the case. It's a waste of time.
Trump supporters come in all stripes. Yes there are the pro-White Supremacist Birther types who think pseudo-Klan rallies like Charlottesville are the bomb. That makes Trump different from Bill Clinton, W, and Obama in that even though all of them ended up divisive, but I don't think they intended to be ... they didn't have a subset in their base calling to lock up the other side or denying people are citizens. Trump elevates the hate, but he's been doing that for decades.
But Trump would be polling under 10% if he didn't have an appeal to working class folks without college, or even HS, degrees who have been left behind. Personally I don't really see him doing jack shite for those folks, and imo he's a con man. But, everyone has their own right to opinions.
There really aren't a lot of violent people amongst liberals or libertarians. I think White Supremacist types are more fake libertarians. People who call themselves libertarians fail, imo, because it's impossible to really live the creed in today's economy, and their ideal is just unobtainable despite any good intentions. But what White Supremacist types want, and what those people yelling lock her up want, has nothing to do with libertarianism.
