What does Iran being a sovereign nation have to do with the price of tea in China? The USSR was a sovereign nation too. We never let them out negotiate us. If they said they were going to do something, fine, we wanted the right to check up on it. They had the right to check up on us too. That is how it was done.



Otherwise, this whole thing is a dog and pony show. It is being used as a distraction for our populace, and for the Iranian populace. That means, what the leaders are saying behind closed doors has nothing to do with what they are telling the international press.
