Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D.) said Tuesday he recently made a collage and painted a polar bear to deal with the stress of news about the Trump administration.

Speaking on Politico‘s "Off Message" podcast, Inslee said he painted pastels before Donald Trump took office but has been more inspired to since he became president.

"Something comes out of the White House, a tweet that drives me to distraction, and I turn it into a picture of Mt. Rainier," he said. "So, it's a mental health issue."

He said his painting had become more "dynamic" and "vitriolic" since Trump took office.
