Snow Report

I shouldn't laugh. Some dumbasses are gonna probably wreck some shit up.
LA don't be knowin' how to deal with ice. They probably know Skynyrd.
snow shovels are gone in 3.....2.....1

ah, must be a northern thing then, I recall a run one time people were paying 2x the price for the last shovel at ace hardware

How much snow do you have?

Here in lower Georgia we have 6 inches. No snow plows and salt is for the BBQ grill and ice cream makers.
We aren't going anywhere for a bit.

I was expecting it to spit a bit and quit and then melt off....
That ain't what happened.

I ain't seen the road in a few hours now.

We got just a dusting, less than a half inch of snow, buth that's the most I've seen in 5 years.
Before that there would be no fuss unless there was at least a foot of snow.
I'm used to getting out there with my UTV and plowing anywhere from 8 to 24 inches of snow,
Truth is when I moved I sold the UTV, Tractor and even left the snow shovels.

Definitely "because of" "global warming" is likely the "official explanation" from the "climate scientists."
Come on, Its winter time. Expect some snow even if it a dusting. The Jet Stream just turned it's direction slightly and the South is getting a dusting.

No doubt about it: that's significant snow in GA, esp south GA.

The difference is it will be gone in three days, likely. Here in MI, we haven't seen the ground since December, and can easily get 6 inch snowfalls into April.

For the record, I hate that. Spring snow drives me to despair

2 degrees when I put the bird feeder out just now.

LOL....I had seven deer in the yard last evening waiting for their corn handout.

When it gets cold like this they are able to "puff out" their hollow hairs and look like puff-balls.

Peach and Pecan country here....they even grow sugar cane.
This is historic for sure. There are some old photos of it happening before back in the 50's I think.

I moved south to be warm and get away from the snow and ice.

I still got winter gear but I was thinking of throwing it out because I didn't need it. Glad I kept it today.

Gonna hike out to the barn and get more wood to bring in for the fireplace in a bit. Uggghhh

That is INsignificant snow. 6 inches of snow is NOTHING. If things shut down over that something is very wrong. What a sad state.

there's probably not a roll of tp left down there. How lame.
