Smart Democrats understand the big reasons behind the Supreme Court’s decisions

By Andrea Widburg

Excerpt:

Following the Supreme Court’s recent rulings about guns, abortion, public prayer, and limits on the administrative state’s ability to craft legislation, most Democrats have turned to hysteria, threats, and revolting racism. They blame conservatives entirely for what’s happening in America. More thoughtful leftists, however, have looked inward and discovered what really happened: They went too far.

A gay man who goes by the name of “TinFoil” explicitly articulated this sense that the left pushed too hard and far. He understands why Clarence Thomas used Dobbs’ rejection of “substantive due process” to suggest that Obergefell (gay marriage) is also on the chopping block. (Because the text is a bit hard to read, I’ve transcribed it and you can find it at the end of this post.)

(Snip)

The gist is that most gays and lesbians just wanted the right to get married and to live normal lives. However, the activists kept pushing and pushing. They tried to destroy bakers who didn’t cater to them, they aggressively pushed Pride month, they silenced people in workplaces, and then they went after the children with transgenderism, drag queens, and teachers pushing porn.

I know of Gays who hated the stupid embarrassing Gay Parades and wanted to live their married lives alone without all the bullcrap activist gays continually push.

Quoting a rare exception is only promoting a lie that says he represents his gay peers.

It's not constructive and in fact it can only serve to stir up more rage on both sides. Rage as in murder by gun of even more innocent people who demand the right to choose.

But go ahead with sacrificing the rights and freedoms of others in order to satisfy your political agenda. Soon America will have nothing left to sacrifice.

You are completely missing the point of the article in post one which I don't think you read at all since it was about going to far as an activist that backfires big time.

Did I read the American Thinker the site that had to apologize for lying about the elections to not get sued? No I did not.

Yes, I pointed out their hypocrisy. I'm glad you caught that.

I knew of their mistake a long time ago and was exposed for it they even post an article about their making the stupid mistake.

Meanwhile your continued prejudice is turning YOU into a hypocrite since you posted an article after I did the one you say you wouldn't read because of their past mistake.

Prejudice? It's a problem to not read stories from sites that have had to apologize for lying to stop from getting sued?

There was no problem with the cake bakers until they went on Facebook and bragged about how they shut the couple down.

Never saw that and would consider that a dumb thing to do however TinFoil point stands.

I actually witnessed first hand what happened to Barronelle Stutzman in Richland Washington where she was deliberately targeted for a dishonest lawsuit especially since there were plenty of other flower shops who would have gladly catered their same sex wedding.

She treated one of the gays well despite their differences even gave him FREE flowers for him to take to his now married other same half as had told her he was in love with another man what she refused to do was to deliver a bunch of flowers to their wedding site which she says crossed the line as she is a very religious person who didn't want to get involved in the situation.

The asshole leftist AG of the State then proceeded to screw her over with a lawsuit.

It wasn't a mistake. It was an intentional lie.

That is why it is a mistake you idiot!

Mistake: 1. An error or fault resulting from defective judgment, deficient knowledge, or carelessness.

Now why don't you get the FUCK OFF my thread you are trolling since you refuse to discuss the article!!!
