Smallville seasons one through four the best.

one last thing i forgot to mention was didnt you think clark did an amazing outstanding job of getting Lionels character down? when i heard him laugh just like Lionel always does, that cracked me up.

I didn’t catch that. No one can do Lionel. Lol

I didn’t catch that. No one can do Lionel. Lol
i didnt hear you say anything on my question of did it make you laugh when Lionel holding marthas hand said to her,MOM BE CAREFUL.:auiqs.jpg:WE both NEVER in our wildest imaginations thought Lionel would ever call her MOM.:auiqs.jpg::abgg2q.jpg::laughing0301:

I didn’t catch that. No one can do Lionel. Lol

clarks acting was amazing,he totally nailed him.

I just took notes while I watched it so I understand it will be different than what I thought.

Ok so who tripped Clark? Why is John always right? Clark needs to quit before he has to turn in a vial of blood.

Lex gave Clark good advice. If he can’t fight for Lana the way he does football than maybe he doesn’t really love her.

This bookie is boring and the character is overdone. The fact that he can control Clark and others makes the episode more of a cliche.

He must have a weakness and I see Chloe just figured it out.

Ooh, Clark just stood up to John. About time! Was John shedding a tear? Clark is his own man now. Good for him.

Clark is fast enough to slow time down to a halt? Crazy.

33rd floor? Is that a mini Area 51. He made it look like bookie is a space man.

So the conclusion: Lex wants Lana for himself? He knows Clark isn’t going to fight for her.
Okay the writers had another brainfart as always.when we were watching season 3 i spoke of how i liked how the next episode began after the episode we saw of pete drag racing how clark was not speaking to him at the beginning of the episode cause he was still mad at him for what he had done,THAT was realism. Okay i hated this episode just because of the way it BEGAN,horribly bad from the very first scene of clark talking to Lana and chole to the last one minute IMO. This one went back to what all the others one had done previously, where chole and mostly Lana, were mad at clark at the end but everything was all forgiven about and hunky dory when the next episode began.

Okay i DO realise that Lana and chole cant cut ties with clark and cut off their friendship with him because we cant have a show if they do that,I get that. I get thats why they cant be realistic and do that. However that is INEXCUSABLE for them to be call hunky dory with clark again right at the start of this episode.he did some VERY UNFORGIVEABLE things to both Lana and Chole, this episode even more so than the pete episode, should have started out with both of them not talking to clark and should have had clark talking to his parents saying-WELL CHOLE AND LANA ARE STILL MAD AT ME AND NOT SPEAKING WITH ME AND ITS BEEN A WEEK NOW.THINK THEY WILL EVER GET OVER IT?

come on,give us at LEAST A "LITTLE" bit of realisn, you did it before with pete, you can do it again,TOTALLY INEXCUSABLE.one of my most hated episodes ever!!!!

you dont remember that russian guy MADE clark trip by saying TRIP,that he gets people to do what he wants?
No john wasnt right, clark had no way of knowing there would be a guy out there that could MAKE people do what he wanted them to do.

yeah they would have to come up with its their religious beliefs or something like that if the school ever asked him for blood.lol

good advise from lex indeed on Lana.

yeah john is shedding a tear because he knows clark is his own man now.

yep Lex is seeing sense clark is not fighting for Lana,he wants her for himself.

33rd floor? Is that a mini Area 51. He made it look like bookie is a space man.

Notice they are giving us hints to Lex being evil again? we dont see what all those things are that Lex and that Russian bookie are looking at but i can tell you sense everybody who knows something about superman, they know Lex has got to go bad at some point in the series.

Because of that,i had a hunch of what it was they were looking at and in later years after the episodes came out on DVD,i rented them and watched the scenes that had Lex and Lana in them and my hunch was correct on what it was they were looking at. you arent going to watch anymore after season four right? if so,i will go ahead and tell you,you wont be watching them so no point in not telling you right?

as said at the beginning this episode was just HORRIBLE from the opening first moments we see clark at school with Lana and chole till ALMOST the very end. the last shot is about the ONLY thing likeable in this terrible episode!!!

Lionel calling Martha mom was a trip.

Sure just tell me what happens. I really don’t want to watch a lot is seasons with bad episodes. And tell me which ones I need to watch before I stop my subscription.

Yeah, I get you, Chloe should’ve dumped Clark after that. Clark’s hit it out of the park. I actually looked for a clip and found zilch.

okay yeah i figured sense you wont be watching anymore seasons after four WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE OF THEM I THINK YOU NEED TO SEE." might as well tell you anyways. when i first saw that scene of Lex and that Russian guy looking at something where Lex opens the door and he said something like-"LOOK AT THIS." and it shows Lex and that Russian guy looking at something, knowing how Lex becomes evil in the future i figured it had to be something demonic and sure enough was my hunch was correct.

In one of the later future episodes that russian guy comes back again and Lex shows him that room again and THIS time when he opens the door, they go inside the room and they show human BODIES hanging from the ceiling. you would never dream from how Lex seems like such a good guy that he could be so demonic at that point but sure enough,he IS.

the ONLY reason i guessed it correctly is we all know Lex becomes evil in the future so it could not be just an object or something they were looking at.

Its no real surprise sense they gave us hints along the way he would go bad like in the episode with ryan he says to clark-"be careful with lex,i know you like him but he has a darkness in him,ive seen it in his head." and his many lies to clark and his investigation into him and hanging around talking with a murderer and he KNOWS he is a murderer, someone who KNOWINGLY associates with a murderer, well you know they got to be pretty bad themselves right?

im surprised i had to tell you this, that you did not guess i it yourself as i did.

BOTH chole and Lana should have dumped clark after that. as i said before i realise they cant do that on the show cause you cant have a show if you do but that was INEXCUSABLE for them not to still be pissed at him one episode later like clark was with pete.

So Lana is an heir to witches. So far she has put her spells on the gang including Lex and Clark. Lana

Plays a great seductress. She never smiled like that so that really helped her play the old witch. Lois and Chloe didn’t do much for the episode.

It was so funny how Martha said, ”I’m sure it was” after Clark said it was magic. I love the bits of comedy that lighten the episodes. Martha is so much better than Lois who has that role.

At this point everybody can believe anything. That is what I have had a problem with. Sure strange things happened to people but this is so Alice in wonderland where animals keep time. Lol Jason just bought the whole “girlfriend is now a witch” too quickly.

Oh Lex got Jason fired. He is too much of a coward not to tell her he likes her.

Clark lied to Lana. He knows what the symbol means. The scientist at the prison told him it stands for water.

Lex is after the stones too. The end has him standing in front of the cave staring at Lana’s symbol

I actually thought it was going to be aliens not demonic. Lex implied it was not from this world. I don’t like this supernatural stuff. I’m glad I won’t be watching that. You spared me. Thanks.

At this point I would get the hell out of dodge. Smallville is a cesspool of psychos
and power seeking monsters. Why do they stay, especially Lana who is the main target most of the time?

So you say Lex is worse than Lionel? I hate to see that. He was a great stabilizing factor in the series.

well its been a long time so you might be right,it might be aliens,i dont remember.i dont WANT to remember.yeah im doing you the greatest favor in the world because it starts to get REALLY bad next year.so your welcome.

yeah the show sure is not realistic thats an understatement.cant have realism and have people get the hell out of dodge or you wouldnt be able to have a show.

yeah as hard as it is to believe.Lex later on becomes even worse than Lionel. He becomes so bad that to learn clarks secret he will commit murder to do so.they have this guest on there who if he is out of the water too long then he will die and lex kidnaps him and has him on a table and tells him to tell him clarks secret or he will let him die.Lex turns his bak long enough to wear clark is able to save him by using his eyes to have water spray down on the guy which allows him to get up and leave.

had clark not found where Lex brought the guy Lex would have killed him because he was not going to tell him clarks secret even if it meant his own death.

i cant believe people kept watching the show after season five, there is something wrong with them to keep watching that kind of crap they fed us back then. I gave season five a chance,i watched it till about half of the episodes and thought they were ALL crap so i had to hang it up at that point. yeah your not missing anything by not going on after season 4.

oh i ASSUME you agree with me that the writers that had Lois call clak smallville all the time were A holes? that got old REAL quick hearing her call him that all the time.I was stfu already give it a rest.the writer that came up with that idea should be SHOT.

these writers also have HUGE brainfarts.Like have you noticed that clark cant make up his mind who his best friend is?:abgg2q.jpg:

He cant decide if his best friend is Lana, chole,Lex,or pete.LOL

when clark shared his secret with pete he told him a few times that season-you have always been my best friend. so i figured that was established and we would always hear how clark and pete were best friends all the time sense it was established, its only natural right?

well if you recall,he ALSO called LANA his best friend in season two a few tmes when he was serious in love with her AND he also told LEX he was a his best friend a few times in season 2 and season 3. NOW in season 4,when clark thinks chole is dead, did you catch it when he said-she was my best friend?:abgg2q.jpg:

makes you wonder if these writers got into drugs at times the fact they could NEVER decide on who clarks best friend was.:auiqs.jpg:I have never seen a show before where a writer had the main character list a handful of people on the show as his best friend.every other show i can rmember watching when they would have that actor say to someone-HE IS MY BEST FRIEND.they were ALWAYS CONSISTANT and did not change from one friend to another each season.:rolleyes-41::laughing0301:

Like on gilligans island for example, the writers never had brainfarts.skipper was ALWAYS gilligans best friend and in vice versa.they did not change their mind each year who was their best friend. :auiqs.jpg: :laughing0301: :rolleyes-41:

yeah the thing i loved about this episode is this episode proved ALL the Lana bashers what a bunch of stupid morons they really are when they said she was such a bad actress all that time when the show was on.
Not just ANY actress on the planet could have played the role of an evil seductress like she beautifully played it.it takes a SPECIAL kind of actress to be so convincing as she was talking in french as she did,you cant just ask ANY actress off the streets to come in and play that role and be so convincing as she was.no sirre bob, It was so hard to believe that she was still Lana.that was not the Lana we all know.

Like you said so well, she never smiled like that in the show as Lana so she hit a homerun out of the ballpark, for sure one of my faves of season four. In fact I think it IS my fave sense it focused so much on Lana and we got to see her in a role we have never seen her in before. It just showed another diminsion to her acting and how she indeed has depth.☺️ all those idiots who said she was such a bad actress back then, have shit all over their faces in embarrassment now after that.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

yeah that indeed was funny when Martha said im sure it was when clark said it was magic.LOL

I was glad to see that Lana found out the truth that Lex had him fired, not clark, that would have pissed me off had she not found out the truth.

so I am guessing you agree with me that this was a great episode as well?

as i said, this one is my favorite and then the one where clark and lionel change bodies is my second favorite of all the episodes we have seen SO far?

do you agree these are the two best so far? if so which do you have ranked first? thanks.

this being my favorite of season four didnt you just LOVE all these scenes here? you can see what I am talking about ow not just ANY actress could speak in french like that as a witch and be SO CONVINCING at the same time.

and therw is this where she is ALSO so very convincing as an evil seductress, again not just any actress could have pulled that off and spoke french so convincingly as she did so incredibly well.

I also know that THIS scene had you cracking up as well watching clark party with chole and Lana shouting out real loud.comedy gold.:auiqs.jpg::lmao:

this scene was SO MUCH the bomb i think you can agree? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :laughing0301: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

something that did not make any sense to me is WHY would clark be bleeding like that she he was lifted up and came down on the ground,he still had his powers in him, they had not ben drained from him yet at the point, now if got hust after he lost his powers that would make sense but he still had them at that point to is makes no sense why he would bleed.

On this one, I’ll give it a pass. As I said before, I am not a fan of the supernatural. That being said, Lana’s acting here could have landed her own series as a super hero like wonder woman or one a helluva lot better than Anniston on friends. Clark didn’t go far either. I heard he turned down stuff.

I took French in high school. She talks like she has spoken it before. Travel abroad maybe?

Clark partying with Lana and Chloe was interesting. Why wasn’t he just focusing on Lana?

Yeah, I was surprised her power could even lift him against his will. He tells Martha about it and that makes me wonder if there is more in the future.

Wow Lex does get bad. Honestly, I don’t pay much attention to what Lois says. She wasn’t right for the part.

The whole best friend thing was off. You tell your best friend things you don’t tell anyone else. Pete was his best friend.

I think the writers got rid of the adults and all that was left was a bunch of 30 yr olds who base scripts off cartoons and later movies. Gone were the great symbolisms used in the early episodes and the psychology behind it. It starts to become an endless cliche and predictable outcomes with the exception of a few scenes. Like we knew we would see lex’s bloody hands on the piano. The buildup to it so insults the viewer. That scene should have alluded to it by having Lex wake up from it washing blood off his hands staring in the mirror piecing just what went on. It leaves cartoonish out of the picture.

yeah as i said before, she is the ONLY actress that ever played Lois Lane who i thought did a
LOUSY job with the part.Terri Hatcher on Lois and clark was great and so was Margot Kidder in superman.

No the Isabel power is gone from her after this season but typical of this show they NEVER explain HOW.again so typical of these writers.:rolleyes-41: yeah you are so correct, his best friend would be somebody he never told things to other people,it cannot be debated Pete was always his best friend despite what he said the other times.again these writers were idiots at times.

wow that REALLY dirves my point home that she spoke french convincingly the fact you took french lessons and could pick it up,great information there, thanks for telling me that.gives me more ammunition on the Lana haters.

Yeah I heard that about clark as well.I always wondered why he never became a huge big time famous actor and its because he never wanted the fame that goes along with it.he just wanted a job like everybody else where he could go to work and come home and be with his family the rest of the evening and being an actor, that would not have been possible.

I dont know if she traveled abroad or anything but she could have just been a quick learner and gotten advise from people that speak french and learned it from them.

well clark isnt himself now under the spell so he isnt going to do what he would normally do wich would be to focus ONLY on Lana.

so i assume that DID have you laughing seeing him yell out having fun telling that dean to come join the party, hee hee.this episode sure had some funny moments in it.:rofl:which is good sense it revolved around the supernatural.

i bet this is another one where if you had children you would not let them watch it till they were 16 correct?

oh something you did not know that you should be aware of is Jason Lanas boyfriend,he auditioned for the role of clark kent before tom welling did and they were strongly considering him for the part.I have to assume that they asked him if he was willing to dye his hair dark because i cant imagine them casting him if he had NOT agreed to it.

thank god they did not cast him because he would not have been right for that role at all even if he had agreed to dye his hair.He just would not be believeable in the role where tom welling could have played the part of jason,

there is no way on the planet the show would have successfully have captured such an audiience had they gone and cast jason for the part, that show would have bombed, people would not tune in weekly or year after year had they done so.

he's fine in the role he has on the show,i have no issues with him in the part he plays on the show,no problems there like i do and you do as well with the actress that plays Lois, he is believeable in that role, but he would have been HORRIBLY miscast as clark kent. He doesnt have the down to earth mannerisms that tom does that is NEEDED for clark kent.

That was a hot scene with Lex. Of course he was set up. She kept luring him towards her.

This gets complicated. His lawyer was a lover, and the spurned lover kills the lawyer.

Lionel helps Clark and claims to be a changed man. Clark believes it but Lex does not.

Clark is disgusted that Lex sleeps around with many women without caring who they are. Welcome to stardom, they all do it, even congress but they use our tax money for the payoff.

Clark feels Lex is evil. Lex agrees and realizes he needs to change.
Ok, so Jason’s mom slips and tells him she knew he would meet Lana someday. Jason picked up on that. More supernatural stuff.

Again lana’s role here is boring as well. I guess she was more interesting when she was Clark’s priority.

This episode had sex, violence, witchery so no, I wouldn’t want young kids to get ideas.

I watched some videos on tom welling. Like you said. he wanted his own life apart from the series. Afterwards he hid away to recoup and turned down Hollywood. I am wondering if playing that role taught him lessons of restraint and just enjoying life as a decent man. The DUI really did a number on his reputation but his wife’s racist remark was pinned on him. Does he still attend those meet the fans events. I heard he started missing them.

I didn’t know that. Tom’s easy going, measured character that shows up with a smile and a helping hand is just charming.
I can’t imagine Jason playing him. I also had no idea he was 6’3. Pete looked really short next to him. Tom’s blue eyes were striking and the boyish face could not have been recreated to land the series 10 seasons.

I heard he started missing them.
yeah you aint kidding that DUI indeed did a number on his reputation.Made you realise he is different than his character, clark would never do that.could not be any further from the truth what you heard,he goes to the fan events CONSTANTLY. matter of fact there is an upcoming smallville 25th anniversary me and david are going to in the fall where a good portion of the cast members from the show will be there. pete will be there and most importantly.Lex.Lana,AND clark will be there. Lionel will be there as well.Lionel and pete i have never had the chance to meet so that will be fun to meet them. for a while the ones i had a main interests in seeing clark and lex were the only ones confirmed so me and dave agreed that if neither john or Lana was confirmed to be there we were not going to go but fortunately Lana was later added and WAS confirmed so we ARE going. I will have to ask john why he isnt going to it when i see him in just 3 weeks baby.:yes_text12::dance:

I didn’t know that. Tom’s easy going, measured character that shows up with a smile and a helping hand is just charming.

Yeah Lionel is KIND OF a changed man,he starts doing good things later on and becomes a changed man because sense clarks body was inside him, some goodness has been put into it. whats funny is you will find at times the goodness shows and that its in him,and at other times it appears to leave him because he reverts back to the old evil Lionel off and on.:abgg2q.jpg:

yeah welcome to stardom indeed clark, welcome to the real world we live in where politicians get the best special treatment and priveledges we will never have.

im sure you agree with me that clark not only was great in his role he was cast in as clark kent but he could ALSO have done jasons role as well where jason could NEVER have pulled off the role of clark kent and been convincing.
