Single click, double-opening link?

Anyone else experience this? If I click on any posted link, two windows of that same link open up in succession. Whazzup with that?

I use the touchpad. Which makes this doubly confusing.

It is annoying as hell btw.

Drunkenness.

You clicked your mouse, passed out, landed on your keyboard, drooled on your mouse pad, the mouse slipped, fell on the floor, the button clicked again, it opened another window...then when you come to, there are two windows open.
