The bandied about $2,000 check that is coming our way is being characterized as a dividend. It is supposedly not stimulus, not a rebate, not welfare .... the word "dividend" was used specifically. A dividend is something you receive after an investment is made. So...it stands to reason if We The People continue to pay the tariffs...shouldn't we continue to get this dividend every year--or possibly every quarter?

I Think it would be a good idea, why not? Alaska already gives their citizens a $1,000 mineral rights dividend each year. Why not also do something on a national level.

It doesnt have anything to do with wether or not we are "paying a tarriff".. for the most part, right now the tarriffs are not being passed along to the population, but we should receive a dividend anyways

Oh we're definitely paying....

Democrat's checks will be applied to the national debt to make up for the trillions they wasted in the last 8+ years of frivolous lawfare. LMAO. Quiet down, Ubu, Good dog.

Hey, well the NO More Kings protestors can just pass their checks along I suppose. Accepting a 2,000 dollar check ordered by Kings decree will cause them irreprable soul crushing damage.

Only if enacted into law. and that's not happening.

there are Special Dividends a one-time payment that is separate from a company's regular dividend schedule. It is usually issued after a company has exceptionally high earnings or cash flow. ......

It’ll be like the 2016 tax breaks. If you wasn’t rich you didn’t notice it. I remember I had to pay the first year. My tax guy said because I didn’t pay as much in taxes. Ain’t that a *****. I’m used to getting money back.
