Since it Keeps Coming Up...

It's not a story I read online, it's the law in my state Einstein.
He asked a simple question. Why can’t you answer it. Have you, any of you, actually witnessed this ā€œteachers have a trans agendaā€ stuff for yourselves in your actual lives?

Can any of you provide a real answer that isn’t some repost of what someone else wrote that you read online?

Anyone?

Can't help you if you can't comprehend the impact of this law.

So no, no you cannot cite a single example in your life where you’ve witnessed teachers indoctrinating kids with a trans agenda

Got it

Anyone else? Anyone?

Bueller?

Would you care to comment on the law in my state? if your son's teacher started to address your son as Suzie, would you want to be informed?

Why is it the teacher’s responsibility to inform you of this? Why would the teacher have any reason to think you don’t already know?

It’s your kid. It’s your responsibility to know these things.

Got it. If your kid attempted to hang herself at school, they have no responsibility to tell you.

No leap from a teacher not telling parents he wants a new name to not telling that he hanged himself?
None. oth are signs of a mental health issue. But it's your responsibility to know that, right? Not the teacher to tell you what's going on at school

Still waiting for someone to provide an example where they’ve personally witnessed teachers indoctrinating kids with trans propaganda.

Come on, you all say this is such a massive, widespread universal problem, this should be easy for you all? You must witness this stuff all the time?

How long do I have to wait?

You’re equating a kid deciding to make some silly name change with a kid putting their neck in a noose in an attempt to end their life through strangulation

You realize that’s insane?

It's not a silly name change. The child is telling the school that he believes he is a girl. Which is a serious mental health issue, which all too often leads to suicide.

I don't see your reasoning that the school is not obligated to tell you about one mental health issue but is for the other.

Of course a teacher is going to tell parents that a child attempted suicide on school grounds. They’re probably also gonna tell the cops and the EMS, etc

You’re being ridiculous

If a student starts saying ā€œcall me Susieā€, well, why wouldn’t the teacher assume the parents know about this already? They’re probably not just doing it at school. That’s not how it works.

It’s not a teacher’s responsibility to report to parents every little thing every student says at school. They have actual job duties. They’re there to teach.

You’re just butt hurt because you cannot provide a single example of witnessing this alleged indoctrination, despite claiming it’s a widespread problem

Now you're just making shit up about what I claimed.

Perhaps if you read the law I posted regarding this issue you wouldn't be making such ridiculous, ignorant claims. Oh well.

We're done, it's clear you're not interested in an honest discussion

The whole reason you posted that article was because you’re trying to defend the notion that education/teachers indoctrinating students is a serious and widespread problem

That’s ridiculous and the fact that STILL no one hase provided a real life example proves my point

Lots of information out there about problems in schools. Do you think it's all fake news? Not all classrooms are as well managed as yours.
Specific schools, most often found in blue cities in blue states. Do you ever look at where the stories originate? Pennsylvania, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, California and all the major blue points in our country where liberals control the state and local school boards. When was the last time you heard of a problem in Wyoming, Idaho, Mississippi, Arkansas, North Dakota or any other number of red states.

If you had said "some" schools, you would be correct! Put away that broad brush, because some schools are doing it right.

Unfortunately, that is your opinion, and one that is held by many people, including myself, but what does the law say? Teachers are not free to pick and choose which laws they follow, or they lose their job. You should be blaming the idiots who pass those laws and not the people forced to follow it.

All too often here, discussions having anything to do with education end up with people who have ZERO personal experience making categorical statements as if they were experts in the field. Sometimes these "experts" barge in and declare "I know just what is needed for education!" then proceed to list 5-10 things that are already being done and have been for years. They also insist that things are happening every day in every school in the nation that no actual teachers posting here have seen. Worst of all, people who have become hysterical (as intended) by some sensationalist trash they read on the internet, burst in frothing with outrage completely unwilling to consider anything that contradicts their adoptive narrative. All this makes it difficult to have any actual discussions about anything relating to education. I've tried time and time again.

I absolutely blame the pin head legislators and Newsom for this law. Hard for anyone to argue there isn't a pro-trans bias in the schools when they pass laws like this.
