Simple question

Pray, what meanest thou by this idle flummery?

They're stuck in 1965!!! They believe whites are hunting and killing blacks for the hell of it. You see this on the media nightly...

The truth in 2015 is blacks are killing twice as many whites every year....10 dead whites killed by blacks to 1 by whites on black.

Get your head out of your ass.

Easy answer.

Envy.

They see liberal heros of the civil rights era...like MLK and the folks who did sit ins and marched on Selma. And they're jealous. They werent part of it.

To liberals...being an oppressed victim is a badge of honor. They WANT to feel they took part in something equal. To earn their stripes of liberalism.

Why are liberals stuck reliving the 18th,19th & 20th century?

Think of how children don't understand their parents until they have children of their own, and have to go through the same things. Suddenly what their parents were arguing and trying to tell them makes sense when you have to lead the household.

Well whatever learning curve we are on, the very people who criticized others in power for abusing it, seem to be making the very same mistakes and act the same way as the people they criticize.

And maybe they will get it, when they are standing in those shoes.

I notice the prolife people suddenly making prochoice arguments when it comes to Obamacare, defending free choice of health care while the opposing groups want to impose a national policy, even at the expense of free choice.

And likewise the prochoice people sound like they are overriding free choice and making prolife arguments, where mandates through federal laws "to save more lives" are more important than defending individual choice or freedom.

So the tables have completely turned.

The people who argued to separate church and state, and keep beliefs out of govt,
are now pushing their own beliefs about health care through federal mandates "as the only way" or else face fines. When Christians push their beliefs as the only way, this is rejected as discriminating against other beliefs; but when "right to health care" beliefs are pushed through govt, then everyone is REQUIRED to follow this belief, whether agreeing or not, or else pay FINES to govt. How oppressive is that? But it's the same people doing this who argued against it when Christians do that with prolife views and beliefs, and push them through govt.

So now both sides have a chance to understand what the other side was arguing previously.

At some point, as more people realize we are in the same boat, and going through similar
issues, we will see more commitment to help each other speed up the learning curve,
instead of obstructing the process of resolving issues, so these just keep repeating.

American history begins with the Progressive Era.

AKA the founding of this nation!
This thread is about a simple question. It may be a bit beyond you.

The OP included the century when this nation was founded.

Perhaps your hom skewlin omitted those dates.
So?

It also included the century of the Progressive Era.

Fourth grade starts in two months.

Right. All those liberals flying the traitor's flag because "heritage" >wink < are living in the past
You talking about flying it at a confederate memorial? Yes, that is were we want the the confederate flag to be flying. You are the ones demanding it be taken down from that site.

Hi guno
Would you like to lead a team of USMB volunteers to rally to buy out Freedmen's Town national historic district
as a campus and banking center for the Black leadership to develop sustainable business and community plans?

I would love for you to add your stories to the political history archives, museums and displays.
The personal testimonies are how the history is captured and shared with future generations.
that is the tradition of the African American political timeline, it has always been passed down by oral history,
and music. Any of the landmarks gets destroyed by hostile interests but the soul lives on through the cultural expressions.

You are welcome to join and even lead a team. I'd love to add the wealth of history and foundation to build on
to take it to the next level. Thanks!
